as i've said i will give the team 10 games to prove themselves after that i love thorn but if we aren't doing well then i will be inclined to want him out.

If you lot could pause gloating about how you have said several times that Thorn is the main instigator of our decline and others on here have disagreed, there is a bigger situation afoot... sw88 has been to this game and was up there supporting in Scotland. I think we need some sort of intervention.

Wonder if any reporter will dare to ask what he thinks after his comments after the Nuneaton game. Or will they just say what do you think and have the "wasn't about the result tonight", "90mins under their belt", "tried a few new things" response.

That's not what he said after Nuneaton. He said we were crap. Tonight, we can only hope for Tourettes.

Very concerning. Thorn is going to be under a lot of pressure from fans. If we play like this in the season i'd give him 6 games.

Either you are very generous, or haven't been back to Cov in a while!

You have to look at our defensive transfers.. keogh cranie mcpake OUT Edge Malaga Brown IN, We've replaced 3 very good championship centre backs with 2 who are unproven at ANY english level and one youngster whose had very little game time in a first team.. Was never really going to work IMO.

Steve cotterill ...be better than thorn

No thanks. No has-beens allowed! We need the next O'Neill/Lambert.

I have a horrible feeling it will be Sean Dyche...

I've been patient up to now, but this is very worrying. If our defending is this bad does this mean the new French players are awful?

Not advocating sacking Thorn, but Paul Tisdale would certainly get my vote for sure.

WHERE IS THE MONEY GOING TO COME FROM FOR A NEW MANAGER!

We haven't BOUGHT any player!

Thorn said the last lot that played were not good enough for the first team....

and they were the fringe players....

we only have our first team playing right now and 4-0 down....

perhaps we are trying to make the rest of the division think we are shit and then we will go the whole season unbeaten:thinking about::thinking about::thinking about::thinking about::eek:

At this rate we will do better to field a CB combo of AT and Shaw, can't do any worse even though they are in their 40s!

OK but if we were going to try and invade the dressing room, Nuneaton really was the best chance: anyone see the guy invade the pitch and run the entire length at the end? I don't think security even noticed him! :)

i wonder if thorn will tell the players that none of them are worth a starting place after tonights embarrassing display.....won't be able to field 11 players let alone subs

No, I mean an intervention for sw88. We stick him in a darkened room and make sure he doesn't go to any more friendlies. He will thank us for it in the end.

There was talk by one or two on here the other day saying they thought we would be unbeaten at the Ricoh all season.

I was more of the feeling that it wouldn't surprise me if we lost our very first game at home.
