I love pre season and even more this year after so long without my live footie fix. I'd happily plan our regular family holiday to see any European pre season games too but I reckon she'd divorce me. It was bad enough having a day trip out to Gillingham from our uk holiday a couple of years back, further away than driving home :)

Was that when it absolutely pissed it down for 15 minutes?

I’m sure Celtic sold the whole end (and a few home in the end) for Richard Shaw’s testimonial?

Everton had a few down here for Marcus Hall’s too

Just a heads up re the Anecdote, club stated yesterday it will be open tomorrow, but when I messaged them directly they said it is a ticketed warm up event and won't be open to everyone.

I bet Maatsen is relieved adama traoure is starting today. That would have been some initiation. Lol.

Would have been an interesting look at Maatsen as he's supposedly rapid too.

Wolves have named their first team against Stoke, so we’ll be playing their leftovers I guess. Tad disappointing
Wolves (3-4-3): Sa; Mosquera, Coady, Saiss; Semedo, Neves, Moutinho, Marcal; Trincao, Jimenez, Traore

Edit: apologies - just spotted it earlier in thread!

They put 3 of the more senior subs on at half time too
Watched a bit of their game but was getting ear worm from hearing Stoke fans singing 'Michael O'Neill, he drinks the whisky, he drinks the Guinness, he hates the Vale'. On another note was watching a bit of Matty James' Bristol City side getting tonked 3-0 by The Villa. James playing ell, but overall Bristol look bang average - although they'd probably say the same about us!.
