He was apparently carrying a chronic back problem last season
Hopefully that's sorted and we will see the best of him this term

I thought a 'chronic' medical problem was one that's long-term/recurring?

I'm going to predict a goal after 6 minutes against Forest and a lot of mirth at the panic over the lack of goals in pre-season..

Maasten, Ohare and Gykores attacking left, with just Waghorn in the box, need something else.

Looked alright there. Sheaf and Dabo looking good. Maatsen decent in possession in the final third, but questionable at the back.

The only thing I'd say about Gyo and to some extent Waghorn, is that neither seems like a penalty box player but the movement of both of them is great, especially in to the much bigger spaces the CBS pitch affords. It's really key that we can get midfield runners into the box to support.

How can you watch without getting the your device is infected crap, adverts etc?

I don't seemed to be getting any interruptions on my device mate, works perfectly fine. Apologies. Maybe try coming out of it and going back into it maybe.... PUSB

Sheaf had a very good half. Hamer also sharp but trying to do too much sometimes. Viktor looks like he has an extra yard of pace from last year. One criticism, thus far we have only had one man in the box in some attacks. Overall very encouraging thus far.

Ain’t really worried about the result, but we have played some good stuff at times.

The fact forests pre season has been hampered with no pre season friendlies recently, I’m ever so slightly optimistic of 3 points next weekend

Encouraging first half. Some lovely football. Sheaf has been the stand out player for Cov so far. Nice to see Dabo getting down the line. Gyokeres and Waghorn look like they could develop a useful partnership. Crane has done well - fitted in seemlessly. Hyam so much better on the right side.

Agreed, both look to link up very well and make intelligent runs, but neither seem to have that instinct to just hit it. But waghorn has scored at this level so worth giving both more time. And walker and godden offer that anyway. Good options.
