Agreed, I get the feeling it's a either or with him or Craine, with the other defensive player being a loan and then a CM.

Based of what I have seen I'd say Souare is worth the punt over Craine

Don't disagree, think he did okay given the opposition. I just think if it is as I suspect an either/or situation then I'd prefer Souare. With consideration to the fact like you say I don't think him and fadz would be a great in a 3 together over a prolonged run of games.

I think it should be both as Cranie's versatility is an asset but we need an alternative to Maatsen to cover injury (and potentially a loss of form)

I thought they’ve both looked okay today, hard to tell in just a single friendly,cranie to me seems composed and can play anywhere across the back if needed, hopefully it’s not an either or as we could do with the options.
