I'm just highlighting if you work in events, and you have an event coming up, the first thing you need to do from a PR side it make sure you post the tickets out on time. It's amateur hour and we are a Championship club now, it should and needs to be better.

I'm not faulting Boddy or anyone else, but it just seems a very easy PR win and very avoidable.

The e tickets are pdf files and will come on a second email.
Mine took two days for the Wolves game and two hours yesterday for Forest

I've not received any pdf files yet, can I take a photo of Jimmy Saville or Gary Glitter instead?

Not the end of the world, it’s almost comical really...I mean who knew the season would be starting this weekend 🤷‍♂️

SHFWF

am I the only one on this forum who doesn't know what this means?
Yes.

Hill was a massive Sheffield Wednesday fan and used to travel to all their home games, but now he watches the City albeit he is often late so SHFWF stands for SHeFfield Wednesday Fan.

Earlier reaction was pretty petulant after a bad day, I maintain it’s pretty poor though.

As has been said by others, I don’t give a toss if it’s a paper ticket, my season ticket or a piss sample that gets me in, but it is amateurish for this to happen (again). It’s not being a dick to point that out.

Also not having the away kit released or even the design available. Poor comms on both, and lost money as a result of having to post additional tickets.

ive just had an email from CCFC confirming my booking for the Forest game in my allocated season ticket seat
but it doesn't have any e ticket attached
it seems a bit random
anybody else had an email like mine
Yup very random recieved emails too.

No issue if the tickets arrive in time, although I’m at a loss as to why they’re posting instead of emailing ? £5000 odd down the drain?

Edit: In fairness a good proportion of ST holders probably can’t email/print them so makes sense I suppose.

But if anything over a few hundred are late then it will be carnage at the ticket office with people collecting and mean getting up there very early to not miss kick off.

Doesn't really bother me either. I've had to collect gig tickets from the venue in the past when I've booked the gig a year before.

Yeah but thats not one person sitting at a desk with no knowledge as to who has had them and who hasn't - its pathetic

This is pretty poor to be honest.

On other threads we're talking about engaging fans. Something that gets me excited is receiving my season ticket in advance of the season, might compel me to purchase a shirt without my discount card (which was supposed to come with the ST) for example (I couldn't anyway as there is no stock).

The deadline for this has been set for a couple of months now, it just looks bad to miss that. I hope they learn the lesson and start producing cards when they're purchased in future. I've had my ST from the first day of early bird, it's not mad to suggest they could have sent it out and I've not even moaned about it once.

Now we're in an unnecessary situation where people are going to have paper tickets, which will inevitably get lost or misplaced so large queues at the ticket office meaning frustration for both season ticket holders and those wanting to purchase a walk up ticket, who may now be put off by long queues and have another excuse not to come.

Shirts should be agreed and produced at the very beginning of the off season and season tickets should be sent when they're purchased.

Nice one. To be fair I’ve not even received e-tickets yet either but it’s good to know.
I’ve had an e mail with no e-ticket

I am clearly in the minority in not really giving a toss :)
It's not about giving a toss it's about doing things professionally.
I brought a ST over the phone from the ticket office until today I had not had confirmation, was getting worried.
I cant make the Forest game as I am on holiday so getting in the ground doesnt matter to me.
It's just the way they go around it.
We are not children just tell us the truth from the off it isnt hard.
Sorry this is just another cluster fuck, good job we didnt get 15,000 st the system might have imploded.
