May be that Hyam is more suited to the central role than Rose. That’s how I see it anyway.

I don't think it's a matter of which is the best of the CB's. It gives a chance to keep the line fresh by rotating CB's.

Couple of concerns about his inability to get into the Brum side last year but look at Ryan Giles now seemingly doing OK at Cardiff after failing here and Rotherham

To be fair a large part of that spell at Birmingham was under an atrocious manager

Yep exactly that.

Its nice to have the 4 good options. Last season Rose being unfit meant picking the back 3 was very easy.

As long as they are performing it will be settled. Robins will want a settled backline, as it's a key foundation for success.

I think JCS will be first choice on the left then it'll be Fadz and Hyam until Rose is fully fit. I think then as the season goes on Fadz will by phased out/rotated and we'll go Rose - Hyam - JCS
