With the squad we have, we surely have a good chance of a top 10 finish?
Cup run/chances?

7th to 14th. If we lose no one else.

Sign a striker and all the gambles perform. Don't lose anyone else 6th to 2nd.

Lose wood and hussey. Mid to low table.

What did we finish first season in the championship 11th wasn't it. My heart says top 2 my head says scrape the play offs!

Where will we finish this year?

Hopefully either in the Championship or League One and not lower.

Top 6....if the team gel quickly and we get the goals the players could get then top 2. Carlisle finished 7th last season. That was with a squad that would not be as good as a reserve team we could now put out.

The bookies base odds on the market rather than who they think will actually do well.

Why else would England odds be so short every tournament?

I'd be surprised if we are not top 6.

Just outside the play-offs I reckon. 7th or 8th. If I was going to be specific I'd say we'll hang around 6th/7th all year before losing some key games. Out of contention after the penultimate game of the season. Sound familiar?

I will go for 11th.

I know, quality of opposition etc etc..

However, we are no Man City and we just havent got a winning mentality...It will take time, and I just cant see that coming overnight...

Love to be wrong, but I think we will lose a fair few games, especially away from home, and that will be our downfall..

I'm not thinking of anything less than top 6. Thorns got pretty much his own team now, so they all have to perform. Add to that, if we don't go up this year I'd be worried for our future.

I agree with the last bit. If it happens just hope sisu don't bottle it , again.

Nope, he'd be managing the other 23 teams, but not us.

Obviously he'd need to be cloned, but if they could do it with Dolly, no reason why they couldn't with a less complicated animal.

They could practise on a lesser mortal to see if it could be done.

Are you going to volunteer Lord?

No! We've never been in that position before?

If we're in this situation come Jan/Feb what are the chances that they'll back him again at that point ,Ie;hold some funds back from sales now or invest Sisu money ,or be in embargo again and selling the likes of Christie or Thomas?:thinking about:

Michael Doyle would walk in to our first 11 and be captain.

It's been done already, surely there can't be more than one person who seriously believes that Thorn is a good manager?

Let me guess. One of the clones went seriously wrong. The clone that went badly wrong thinks he is a lord
