lockdowns will only be brought in if hospitalisations rise to the point where there’s strain on nhs. They only do one thing, delay the spread, rather than stop it, so really just buy us time. Hoping the vaccines and boosters (if brought in) and natural immunity will mean hospitalisations remain under control, unless a new variant pops up, but as NW says, who knows ?!

Of course, there will be a new variant.

We’re at more risks of new variants the longer the less developed parts of the world don’t get vaccinated. Whats the situation with the pharmaceutical companies and patents etc? Is that the barrier that is stopping vaccine rollout in these places?

It's supply, larger countries are buying up all the stock

Just to be clear, if ever I did need help, you would be the last person I would be approaching for it.

No time for the mass conspiracy theory bullshit.

I agree - look at the state of this twat who no longer posts on here who thought 5G was the devil incarnate

On a more practical and worthwhile subject than irrationality and nonsense... these boosters, what's the long term plan? For them to end up like the flu vaccine, where certain groups get them annually, but others can pay to have them if they want to?

The plan seems to be to offer them and then annually ruin everything anyway

Hey all

After the hardest 3 weeks of my life I am pleased to post that my wife is now HOME!

At one point 2 weeks ago they told she needed a c section and ventilator. They were not optimistic about her surviving really. Csnt explain to youb
that feeling When nurse tells you that they won't lie and your wife is critically ill

But God bless the NHS they saved her life by God's grace

Get jabbed people. But.more importantly don't take anyone for granted

Thank you all for your well wishes on this thread or chasing up on me in DM. I really appreicate it

Mrs covcity4life is back!

Numbers can be manipulated or reported to paint pictures.

Schools going back will soon give a headline and cause some panic with all the additional tests being done.

Cool so the government is faking the death figures

You utter plum

Firing up for lockdown

Not sure why you're so obsessed with thinking this government wants lockdowns.

They've consistently left the decision until way too late in order to try and keep things open until the situation has got so bad it's unavoidable.

Their donors and mates want things open so they can make more money.

We get you don't like lockdowns. That doesn't make it some massive conspiracy.

Can you point out where I have said conspiracy?

I'm sure someone asked before regarding hospital admissions but I can't find it.......how many of the 8k in hospital were actually admitted with covid compared to those that caught it in there or are just asymptomatic but simply tested +ve?
