I’m still absolutely buzzing, won’t wear off for a couple of days I don’t think. Mentally or physically seeing as I cut the back of my calf on the seats celebrating the winner and can’t walk properly

🤣
Guy next to me managed to lose his glasses, they ended up 3 rows in front!

Speaking of which, a couple about 4 or 5 rows forward got up & left when the 4th official put the board up for stoppage time... Wonder how they're feeling now?

Games like this are sometimes pivotal in a season, these lads actually need to believe they are as good as any in the League now after this display. Worth 6 points as a confidence booster I reckon.

I can't imagine ever leaving a match before the end. I have even stayed when we have been losing like 5-0. But leaving when the scores are level, especially given our record of scoring late this season seems an extra degree of craziness.

The only game I ever left early was against Gillingham in division 1 at HR. 1-0 I think and heard us score as I left the west terrace.

Just can't bring myself to do it again. Even if you're getting battered you have to stay.

I left after 20 mins I think in the championship relegation season. Bristol City we’re 2-0 up and we were woeful. Think Adebola scored for them - Drank my sorrows away in the casino. Think we lost 3-1 in the end

anyone remember the classic from Linnell? "Dan, Dan, we won" Dan - "what? no no no we lost" fecking laughing now thinking of it
Crewe in the JPT weren’t it? I remember raging at McSheffrey and his shit free kick, should have let Murphy lump it in the box - I’m convinced to this day we’d have scored. Crewe were all over the place

The only time I've ever left early was Crystal Palace at home in 2005. We were 3-1 down and Palace scored a 4th as we were crossing the Rowleys Green roundabout. Good times.

Gyo sprinting across behind the goal to join in the celebrations after the 3rd goal ! Brilliant !!

Just get a glimpse of him flashing past the camera after the third.

BUT.... his footwork to get the ball back from the keeper after the first (21 secs in). C'est magnifique ! With skills like that and if COH is the Solihull Messi, Vik has to be the Scandanavian Mbappe :p

Unbelievable tie overall. If we'd won that 6-0 on aggregate it wouldn't have been an unfair reflection on the two legs.

Only game left early was against Tranmere away. 4-1 down and down to 10 men. End up 5-1.

Pearson likely to leave due to ill health.

Just reading the Bristol forum. There's a lot of discussion about Moore's tackle on O'Dowd with video from behind. I was sure it was a pen at the time. Not so sure looking at replays. there was actually minimal contact and a perfectly timed dive.
One poster said he should have got a red. The next said it's good he didn't as it was embarrasing enough to lose to TEN men

At the time I thought it was a stonewall penalty but seeing it again he just gets enough on the ball.
Wouldn't be a red card either way anyway - double jeopardy & all that.
Thought the officials were pretty good overall actually, big improvement on recent weeks.

Well that’s a surprise. Richard Gould, son of our Bobby is CEO at Bristol City.

But that usually happens!

The only game we left early was was Oxford United away a few years ago. Relegation season about 3 nil down and it was Toxic. Missed our goal at end.

I had a dream about that match the night before, ended up 4-1! Told my dad before the game. Johnson scored their 4th on the day. My dad looked at me like I was a witch!

Looking at it in single frame time, O'Dowda is pushing Rose over as Moore goes down to get the ball, so should have been a foul on Rose, Moore gets the ball and catches O'Dowda on the slide, so a pen would have been a harsh decision.

Does the Double Jeopardy rule only work for goalkeepers ? Maatsen redded and Brizzle get pen 30 mins later.....

"the offending player is cautioned if the offence was an attempt to play the ball; in all other circumstances (e.g. holding, pulling, pushing, no possibility to play the ball etc.) the offending player must be sent off."
