I think this has been discussed before

Clough was close to managing us.. big what if

The rich Arabs who came to watch but a pitch invasion put them off (allegedly) what if we hadn’t kicked off that day

What if We had signed and kept hold of Keegan

What if after the cup win we had gone for a big manager name to kick on (contentious I know)

what if we hadn’t sold Robert Rasario

What if old Jenkinson one trick learnt a second trick and became the greatest winger ever

What if the guy who bought Leics bought us instead…sure I read he had a look at us and declared us a basket case

what if Julian Gray hadn’t been kept for all these years and we brought someone better in

what if Gary Breen was just restricted to 10 players and we got a keeper in who wasn’t Gary Breen

what if Nuddy had learnt to look up during one of his runs now and then, or Huckers learnt/understood the offside rule

What if we sign Lee Bowyer in 1996 instead of/as well as McAllister?

What if Jarni stays for his full contract?

What if we spend the Robbie Keane money on Jorg Albertz and Neil McCann instead of Bellamy?

What if Arena 2000 becomes the English national stadium, complete with retractable pitch?

What if Mowbray signs Kelvin Wilson?

What if Covid hadn’t stopped the title-winning season, or if we’d been at the Ricoh for the whole season?

What if God was one of us?

Its a stretch, but what if WW2 never happened?

We had Harry Storer as manager from 1931 and he transformed the club- this is the guy that Brian Clough named as his inspration. We finished 2nd, 3rd, 1st in the third tier, and 8th, 4th & 4th in the second tier- we were heading up. When he took over we were getting less than 10k per game, by 1939 we were getting 26k per game, we were the 8th best supported team in the country- 10k more than Leicester, 5k more than Derby & Leeds, the same as Birmingham, all of those were in the top division.

We were absolutely nailed on to become a top division team in 1940 with very big support- 27 years before we did get there.

In the long list of Hitlers crimes, this is an underrated one.

What if Froggatt hadn’t had his career ended by Summerbee? Such a sad loss of a bright talent.

So many :)
What if we didn't sign Larry Lloyd and kept Denis Mortimer
What if we hadn't kicked off 15 minutes late against Bristol City
What if Arsenal had beaten Ipswich in the 78 cup final
What if we had signed Trevor Francis for 1m
What if we had kept Tommy Hutch & Bobby Mac for one more season
What if we hadn't let Stuart Pearce's contract run down before offering him a new contract
What if we had sold Regis before the 1986/87 season
What if we had let Sillett handle his own succession
What if the the penalties in the Sheff Utd cup replay had been in front of the Cov fans
What if the ground move had happened while we were in the PL
What if Richard Money hadn't been forced out & replaced by Jim Smith
What if SISU had picked anyone but Coleman as manager
What if MR hadn't been available after Slade

Money wasn’t manager.
