Bournemouth tickets (13 Viewers)

Bit of a joke this tbh, need to bring in a loyalty scheme of some kind. I've been to 4 of the 8 away games this season (Usually do 10-15 a season), more then happy for those who do every away game priority until it filters down the pecking order. If I miss out, I miss out, at least it's done fairly. Having a supporters branch being guaranteed tickets is a joke, especially when people who attend weekly can't get tickets and the supporters club ends up selling them on as they got too big an allocation.

Think we would be wise to bring in a scheme immediately. Plenty of local derbies towards the end of the season, with allocations of only a couple of thousand or so, which will be equally hard to get tickets for.

Just do something like 1 point a game, people with 75% attending away get priority, then 50%, 25%, phase one, phase two, general sale.
Pretty smart Mart and I agree it needs some loyalty based system, supporters clubs getting tickets before anyone regardless of games been is a massive joke

They stole Mrs BSB's work bag and ID, then chucked it in someone's garden in Cheylesmore. It contained a whole stack of exam papers so she got hauled in front of management for 'letting' it happen
Well that's what she gets for not sitting at the bottom of the stairs with a shotgun pointed at the front door I'm afraid.

Well fucking said.

The privileged few can’t and won’t ever understand this. It all reeks of a silver spoon, mummy and daddy got it me mentality.

It’s not even that. Anyone can join these members clubs. If this is how away tickets are handled now many many more will join. Rendering it pointless. What then? It’s pure selfishness. (Fully aware it’s a limited amount given by ccfc and not every club member gets one)

As I was delightfully told by the ref earlier

Might as well all join a supporters club and jump the queue for tickets

Jokes about a 1/3 aside I assumed it would be like 20 tickets

As did I. As a member of the LWCCFC, or at least was, no idea what’s going on with it since the pandemic, as I don’t get updates, but obviously didn’t hear about these tickets nor would I have wanted to. Grateful to have got one the ‘proper’ way by queuing on that shit system. Having seen the effort Juggy put in, I wouldn’t have been as outraged if say him & one other were guaranteed a ticket (I realise that alone is contentious, I don’t know him personally at all, he wouldn’t know who I am), but am disappointed to see that this many tickets have gone this way. That’s a piss take.

Anyway, all being said, this is a much better argument than what we’ve all been going on about the last 10 years.

You don't think we'll take 2k to a local game where we haven't played for years because we didn't take 2k to Millwall or Barnsley?

Obvs not.

If we had a points system it would be easy to get tickets for it because those so desperate to go West Brom may not have gone to Barnsley.

“L&W aren't getting that many tickets
2) Southam and B&N are taking more
3) Combined they total around 120.”

The fact that even just one fan gets further reservations than the rest is an absolute joke. The club really need to scrap this and it’s very slimy of them to try and cover it up.

Was this an issue when they got a collection of tickets for Morecambe away?

I didn't get a ticket for Bournemouth, but I also know these tickets have always been a thing.

I’m glad more and more people are seeing it for what it is.

I don’t see how game attraction/location/importance, whatever, comes into it. It shouldn’t happen full stop.

I reckon a loyalty scheme would be still cause controversy.

No it wasn’t an issue then. I personally didn’t know about it always being a thing.

It is an issue now though. Can’t be the same next season.

Agreed.

It shouldn't be a thing for games with tiny allocations.

The problem is, we've not been in a situation like this before and the things that have not been am issue before and now issues.

Agreed but I'm baffled people didn't know about this ticket situation for years. It's because this is the first time the bandwagon has properly been rolling.

It’s not all about the bandwagon. The point is, there are people who were at Morecambe, at Newport, at Fleetwood on a Tuesday night who haven’t been able to get a ticket for this game because of a lack of a loyalty points system*. Seen people complaining on twitter about people acting like “bigger” fans. It’s nothing to do with being a “bigger” fan, but those who’ve shown the most loyalty to the club should be rewarded for it.

*edit: and a shady situation of palming off a significant portion to supporters clubs

Things unfortunately have to adapt and move on with success. Dare say we make more progress, it’ll be a nightmare getting hold of one of 2000 tickets for Anfield.

Like you Hill, I wouldn’t want to join their supporters club and have to befriend and spend time with people I don’t care for, just to guarantee tickets. I won’t be joining anyone else that decides they’re going to take this route to guarantee tickets.

What I do object to is that in the last couple of days, the defenders of the holier-than-God-supporters-clubs have insulted our intelligence.

Firstly it’s ‘you’re lying we don’t get any tickets’ to now ‘we don’t get that many’.

Don’t piss on us and tell us it’s raining, is my point.

Because it’s never been an issue. Not that baffling really.

That's it though isn't it, because it's not an issue before the same ticketing routine has continued.

These supporter clubs have always booked tickets together through one channel whether that be Morecambe away with 290 away fans there or Wembley with 40k.

I totally agree that it shouldn't happen for these games and hopefully the club will change the rules for games in future such as Birmingham, West Brom and Fulham.
