Actually ADM/ Grendull, I'll always try and call out hatred and bigotry ... feel that's the way this country can improve....life's too short.
I referred to 'educate yourself' based on my experience.
Back in 80s as an arrogant little shit of a teenager with no experience of the world or life and from a white area with white friends I was mildy racist, sexist, homophobic etc. Not proud of it.
I went off to uni and everything changed - I learnt about the world, society and people and met a diverse range of amazing open minded, intelligent and creative people. I realised then that ignorance, bigotry and hatred needs calling out. We owe to our kids and future grandchildren to make the world a better nicer place.

We've all done that . We've all experienced the same . I went from a white area in Cov when I was 18 to living in London for the next decade.

It's all very well calling bigotry and hatred out, but it depends how much hatred you use in the process. You can become the very epitomy of intolerance yourself if you want to ram your new found moral high ground down everyone's throat.
