Spot the odd one out

Dabo is worth a try in attacking midfield
Dabo at CB on merit
Dabo would be a good fit at CDM
Sell Godden in January
Austrian Covid rules are 'like Hitler never left'
Opposition teams will let O'Hare shoot because it's less dangerous
O'Hare should be loaned out in January
Wilson isn't saving enough penalties
Shouldn't sign Sheaf because he smiled in an Arsenal training session
Biamou is the best athlete at the club
The Dabo at CDM wasnt my point but I thought it was worth a try, but Im sure it is now with Kane and Maatsen and then a lack of Creativity with Sheaf and Kelly

He’s scored 3 penalties which significantly skews the data

Good job he scored those three because the big Swede in our side missed his.

Didn’t he win two of the three penalties he scored? Perhaps we add earning penalties to the list of things he does. Unacceptable contribution for a striker. And don’t get me started on goalkeepers who do nothing but stop goals going in 😡

He’s 100% our best player. He’s pretty much undroppable.
I agree. He is undroppable. However part of that is coz there is no replacement for the way he plays the game and the type of high energy football we play. The nearest is Allen or JJ. Neither of them are near his level.
He’s been my favourite player for 18 months (sound like a member of the JSB now- I was in the early 90s). However sometimes feel someone pushing him for his squad place or resting him could push his game further on.
I think I’d give my left nut for him to sign a new contract on a 20% pay increase.

Watching Maddison assisting and scoring for the sister fingerers really makes you realise how much O'hare has to do if he ever wants to play at a higher level.

And Conor Gallagher netting a brace second one was sublime 👌
he's only 21 aswell, some talent he's going to be.

As much as I love O'hare he does need to up his end product.....PUSB

I don't think he'll ever get to that level, but there's a huge gap between where we are and where they are.

Lot of young players grow up wanting to play that position I guess, it's a glamour role. As much as I like Callum, he isn't irreplaceable.

John Fleck played at that level

Maddison had end product at 16 what O’Hare isn’t close to yet
He didn't, he didn't even break through until he was 17 and that was in be League 1. Given that he takes free kicks and corners you'd expect his goals and assists to be naturally better but O'Hare's assist record stands up well to Maddison at Championship level.

It's a farcical comparison in any case, remember Norwich paid a multi million pound fee for Maddison who is an exceptional talent, we got O'Hare on a free.

Easy to say as it seems you didn’t comment on him at all until he started in the premiership - in fact most of your posts compare him to Sam mccallum and that mccallum will be worth at least as much

PSG wanted it seems to sign him at one point - Mcallum that is

He's had it in for O'Hare since L1. His desire for him to fail is weird and his opinions of him not based in any sort of provable analysis.

The problem O'Hare has is physicality. he needs to make that up it other attributes. his finishing is woeful and decision making from great positions he gets into sometimes baffling. He is going to be a player who can frustrate and thrill fans in equal measure. he helps create much of our game but sometimes that can be one dimensional after a while and I'd like to see him turn and run at defenders instead of pausing to look up in bewilderment looking for a pass to make.
He still has the energy of a tiger and brings much to the team, but not by any means undroppable as his influence on games decreases.
While jones is capable of the number 10 roll it brings a different approach for the team. What Jones does bring is a goal threat and that's why I believe O'Hare will get rested at some point soon and be that impact sub we often saw during his early spell with us on loan, when he was mighty effective.

Is rested just a nicer word than dropped ?
For me Callum O’Hare is first name on the team sheet always puts a shift in and a handful for defenders creates space for team mates. My answer, get better players with him starting January, Jodie Jones is one.

Lol, the problem with O'Hare (most tackles in the opposition to half and most fouled player) is physicality
