Who has said top clubs will come in for him?
Almost everyone is saying the opposite, that it won't happen while his end product is poor. That doesn't mean he's not a very important performer for us.

You've had it in for him since he was in L1, since then he's played a major part in getting us promoted, surviving in our first season back and now pushing for the playoffs. Your dislike of him is really peculiar
Major ? He couldn’t force his way into the starting line up in league 1 ? He will not suddenly become this prolific player he’s hardly a baby people talk about him like he’s 17 he will be 24 next may...haven’t got it in for him or anyone else at the club I support but I want more than he gives us in front of goal or with assists etc,I’ve never fallen for the hype with O’Hare,I was the same regarding Tom Bayliss

You are utterly clueless then. Who do you think is the best player at the club then?

Which part did I say about “best player” ? He’s certainly not first on the team sheet anyway as someone posted the other day,Grendel said he’s the first “talisman” we’ve had since Dublin 🤣

O'Hare is not a traditional attacking midfielder. He is the main orchestrator of our pressing game.
No one disagrees about his lack of quality in the final 3rd, but it blinds his detractors, like you, from all the other aspects of his game which he does very well.

To be a good goalscorer you need to have a certain amount of calmness in front of goal, especially when you have time and space. COH doesn't have that calmness at the moment, either in his play or, I suspect in his personality. He plays the game at 100mph, (metaphorically) and that doesn't seem to be allowing him that calmness. It will come I have no doubt about that, probably as soon as we sell him, but hopefully while he is still playing for us.

I would love to see Hamer in O’Hare’s role with Sheaf and Kelly behind. Just for a few games to see if it works.

Robins is extremely set in his ways though so it’ll never happen.

Hamer is scared to shoot now for some reason.

He hasn't got a lack of quality, that statement is false. He contributes more than just pressing, his other qualities are his movement through the lines, control, ability to take balls in tight areas, these are all absolutely essential to how we play.

His best stats are getting fouled and running round a lot

Define 'best player'?

Best technical ability or close control? Best ability to run at players? Fittest?

The keeper has added a lot of confidence to the defence. Fadz is leading the back line brilliantly. Godden is finding the net regularly. All of these are important and O'hare does none of them. But at the same time those players don't get players on the back foot and draw fouls, which are also useful.

Agreed. Was referring more to his final ball and particularly his finishing. Rest of his game is very good.
