All this lack of any sign of ambition does is saysto all those fair-weather fans who've turned up fairly regularly this season that there is nothing to be too optimistic about. So, that record number of season tickets sold won't be bettered next season. That average gate will peter off. That chance to make the play offs with fizzle out.

I'm hope I'm wrong of course but it just feels a bit deflating.

Clocking up interest is is not the same as taking out. Alot of other clubs are actually charged stadium rents or management charges

So are we. By Wasps (though if our owners got their hands on the stadium they undoubtedly would too, then loan the club the money with high interest rate to pay the bill).

Just because they're not actively taking the interest out right now isn't great either. It'll be compounding and so increasing all the time. Plus it puts off investors as it affects the net value of the club, and I imagine SISU would want all their investment + interest at least to even consider a takeover.

It doesn't work like that, their loans are ultimately from entities domiciled in tax havens, it isn't offsetting any profits anywhere

A short term loan played a huge part in us achieving our objective of staying up last season. What's to say the right one couldn't push us into the play offs this year?
