I suspect it's not accurate in all cases. Jobello at 200k is clearly overvalued and at anything less than a million + for Sheaf is being underrated. My only point has always been that Allen is not worth zero pounds and zero pence. To say otherwise in my view is slightly strange given the money that, even during a pandemic, has changed hands in the lower leagues for players less accomplished than Allen. Regardless, your entitled to have your opinion.

Most signings are for nominal fees Allen in his third season here has started 30 games hasn’t he in the league?

Your opinion in drivel

Grendel its Christmas and i have no desire to argue with you. Look at my posts I am 100% defending your right to have the opinion that Allen is worthless. On two occasions now you have decided to make what I can only describe as pathetic catty comments and I have no idea why. I am also conscious I have no idea what's going on in your life right now so I will refrain from lowering myself to that level, but I would request as a new years resolution you have a think about the value of being obnoxious with people on this forum often with little justification or provocation.

Nothings “going on in my life” and I’ve mellowed over the years - I thought it was a pretty polite response all things considered

This contract extension seems more bizarre by the day - Shipley is in ahead of him now

This decision gets more baffling - he’s nowhere near the level needed - what next Waghorn gets another 5 years, Shipley a 3 year deal?

Ridiculous

Yes I don’t get offering it when we did. He was hardly going to be in demand by other Championship clubs come the summer

We all know this was offered because it’s cheap. We can’t afford a squad of Championship level players so we have to fill it out with L1 players.
Frustrating but true. Let's be honest come the end of the season when you're reviewing who is going to be part of taking us to the next level...you rule a line through Jamie Allen

Good player when playing up next to O'Hare. He was not the worst player by a country mile today.

weve Extended his and Kelly’s contracts - why?

Did OK today, but not really Championship starter quality.

Fine as cheap backup/squad player.

He's what, 5th choice central midfielder, only played there tonight because we were missing Hamer, Kelly and Eccles.

Allen competent player, Kelly not so sure

Kelly clearly in decline which is just accelerated by each injury setback. Should have let him go at the end of this season along with a number of others but instead we're keeping them for next year. Trouble beckons next season I fear

He was awful today but my view is possibly clouded by the fact he was in Hamers position and him being there highlighted how much we need Hamer

A player like Allen should be 3rd choice, as it is it’s basically just him behind O’Hare and Sheaf/Hamer. Very frustrated with the direction of the club and what the future has in store compared to what it could be with owners who had a vague interest.

I thought he was completely anonymous. Can’t think of one positive thing he did to influence a move or whatever. Definitely no more than an impact sub but know it’s a question of needs must at the moment.

From what I’ve read is that Allen was told a few home truths at the start of the season as he was sulking because he wasn’t getting game time. Started the season well when he played but like Shipley has reverted to type.

Another like Shipley that needs moving on in the summer. Allen’s performance was a 4/10 for me at best. No influence on the game and carrying him along.

I’d rather blood a kid or two for the rest of the season now play offs are out of reach than watch those two put the effort in that they do. It’s boring, predictable and a constant theme. Nothings changing.

His poor performance last night I suspect was based on the instructions he was given, he wasn't anywhere near as enterprising as he usually is, seemed very conservative with the positions he took up.
