Re Taveres, if we do start with two up front today, as long as were not in an incredibly tense holding on situation, surely he has to get some game time.

No other recognised strikers on the bench to be chosen ahead of him, and he’d be coming on in a two which suits him.

If not, it’s clear MR doesn’t think he’s anywhere near ready yet.
