Gyökeres has missed plenty of chances. Ironically two spoon fed to him by O'Hare against Reading and Cardiff.

Gyokeres has missed chances but he’s still a rookie and 11 isn’t bad think he will end up with 15+ which for someone in his debut season would be tremendous.

He joins the play up quicker than others, makes the runs and the niggly tackles similar to Hamer but without the cards and always seems to be in space.

Were we better without him today? Absolutely not. However, the biggest issues we faced were the midfield and defence taking valium, Robins being inept tactically, and us spooning chances when presented. None of those things he would have improved.

I genuinely just feel sorry for people that paid to go there today. It was a very weak performance and there are quite a few players that weren't anywhere near good enough.

I'm interested to hear how MR and AV were inept tactically and what you would have done differently. Thought poor decision making by our players and inability to retain possession in the first half plus a mistake by Sheaf in the second half caused the problems.

Being 2-0 down at half time and not making any changes. That was pretty inept wasn´t it?

He's on 12 (13 including the FAC goal). To put that in context, the top league goal scorer in any Championship (or equivalent) season since our PL relegation is 15 (McSheffrey in 05/06). the only other occasion that anybody went past 12 was Lee Hughes in 01/02 (14 goals).

It's highly likely Gyokeres will go past both this season.

I felt an early change was in order but at the end of the day it’s all opinions based on what we’re watching on the outside. We’ve got no idea what MR was thinking about regarding adjustments/match ups/bollockings at half time and what they might achieve. All we know is; it didn’t fucking work… and we were right in hindsight or by default (pick your poison). MR calls the shots, most of the time they work, sometimes they don’t. He’s not a fucking robot.

Even though I think he should have made changes he wasn't exactly blessed with n abundance of options either though bringing on an ill player instead of someone who scored in the previous game was a strange decision.

Even 0-2 at half-time I didn’t expect changes for 10/15 minutes unfortunately Swansea scored a couple of minutes after the re-start which obviously spiked any plans to get back into the game.

You can't knock his use of subs, when we have such a great record for scoring late goals. Whatever he's doing is actually working.
If O'hare had wade in with a few goals we would comfortably be in the play off positions now.

Changed the game when he came on. The technique to slip on his arse when the ball is laid on a plate to him 5 yards out only to hit it straight at the goalie. Sheer class. Bonus points for the desperate penalty appeal as well.

P.S we lost 5-0 in the away fixture in which he played all game before any starts telling me how “it would have been a different game if he started”

We didn't really improve that much when he came on; it wasn't until Taveres was introduced then the whole team seemed to get a lift.

Second game in row he hasn't started/played. Second game in a row we've lost.

Said it in the match thread but when Jordan Clark for them ran through 4 of our players,he got kicked twice and stayed on his feet and drove forward. O hare would have gone down the first kick on thr half way line. It interrupts our play every time as he'll never break the line because he loves winning a free kick.

Out of curiosity has he won a penalty for us this season? I can't think of one if he has?

Ref's are wise to him as well. Like the boy who cried wolf - so when he actually gets fouled like he did on one of the recent games (on the touchline by the keeper) - ref's assume he has dived.

But as a referee they should judge a foul based on the foul, not on his previous actions.
