Good insignt on BBC Sunday show from Admiral Tony Radadon on the military dilemma and no fly zone
1.5 million refugees have now left. I take it since we won’t lift a finger militarily to help that we and all other NATO countries will offer an open door to all who want to escape the Putin invasion as he cracks on with it?
Only temporarily of course, because he’ll give it all back after he conquers the country.
the issue is though he did admit if Russia cannot access the capital then they will probably blast the place to dust and had no real solution to prevent it other than “it would be really outrageous”
Yeah but how many LinkedIn connections does he have?

Ukraine invasion: What sanctions are different countries around the world imposing on Russia and will they work?
Russia has been frozen out of the international financial system via SWIFT, and is seeing sanctions on its central bank and reserve funds. Sports fixtures across the country have been cancelled and it has been banned from taking part in the Eurovision Song Contest.www.google.co.uk
That's great. It's very nice of them to give us a billion names.
However if you actually check the official government UK sanctions list you will see that 15 Russians have been sanctioned since the start of the war.
You can check here. You're welcome.

They've got another issue coming up with logistics.
As the ground thaws going to severely limit movement and Ukraine doesn't have an extensive (or well-maintained) road network. In a normal year we couldn't get on the ground to drill until mid-April because it was just too wet. So even tanks will have to stay next to the roads just to be refuelled.
We used to move combines and tractors all round the place rather than straight from A to B because bridges couldn't take heavy loads, not a lot of side roads where you can easily take shortcuts. Also a lot of the side roads etc are still gravel rather than tarmac.
So convoys etc going to be concentrated in small spaces but I suppose that will apply to Ukrainian forces trying to attack these convoys as well.
Plus looking at that twitter video of the lorries etc on a train I recognise several of those types and they are literally out of the Ark. Only reason a few of them are still around in private ownership in Hungary is that they are easily maintained because they are so basic. But got no speed, fuel efficiency or load capacity

Why does everyone keep adding random locations in London to their posts?
Backward uncivilised countryThe Mirror claiming that Russia are planning to carry out public executions in Ukraine next apparently

I guess, given the size of the Russian empire and he definitely sees himself in Czarist terms, but I think his playbook is more Stalinist. So it's a sort of hybrid of the two.Putin wants a Czarist Russia not the USSR, he saw the Bolsheviks as traitors for breaking up Russia and giving the SSRs the right of secession. I find it difficult to believe he admires Stalin on that basis.
I hope your right but given their track record I fear weeks or months down the line we'll hear different. You’re 100% right. People are moaning about Boris’s and Britains response but we have led the way in support for Ukraine to see off the Russain invasion and Russia well know this.
