ohare good, but far too may bad passes to be mom, even with his goals (he should have had 4) Same for Gus. Allen was very good for 99% of the game, so deserves top billing.

If we are going to be serious Allen did ok in the second half largely because others were taking Sheffield apart and making gaping holes in their midfield
O hare had a brilliant game and capped it with a couple of goals to silence the morons on here but Gyokeres was man of the match as he was a colossus who they could not cope with
He and o hare looked on another level - hamer also can but sometimes he looks like he’s never played the game. It’s frustrating

O’Hare didn’t have his best first half but certainly had his best half for us in the second.

he is a class above any other player we have - it sometimes doesn’t come off but his movement and speed of foot is more than any midfielder I’ve seen at the club in 50 years
maddison will always be cited but after he signed for Norwich he vanished in his loan spell

At the moment it’s what would prevent him going on to play in the PL. He’s another player who can make bad mistakes and nothing gets said though.

First half was decent but second half was unbelievable, just like Fulham, the way Sheffield United played and set up really suited the way we play allowing us to play brilliant counter attacking football.

Vik with arguibly the best centre forwards display up here for many years today ..
His finishing can be somewhat all over the shop , but he made Sheffield Uniteds defenders look league 2 today , absolutely tore them apart

its when we play down the line we excel it’s not tip tap pass nonsense -,he’s not great with back to goal or in the air - we went far more route one and were better for it
Moore 7 (some decent saves but a few shaky moments)
Dabo 8 (his acceleration from standing is a real asset)
Rose 8 (covered McFadzean a couple of times, once preventing a clear chance for Sharp)
McFadzean 7 (did okay)
Clarke-Salter 8 (another goal saving interception and was solid)
Maatsen 8 (similar to Dabo in his quick movement. Great skill leading to Godden goal
Hamer 8 (worked really well with Allen. Some great surging runs but sometimes final ball didn't come. Also dubious header back to Moore)
Allen 9 motm (fantastic all-round performance. Passing was excellent. Frequently found O'Hare in good positions. His defensive coverage was incredible)
O'Hare 9 (after a very wasteful first half when his passing and touch were poor, he looked a different player after his bundled first. Second goal showed he can finish when the pressure is off. Good assist too)
Gyokeres 9 (didn't always make the right decisions but what a handful. He is unlike any striker I have seen in style and defenders don't know what to do with him)
Godden 7 (some decent link play and a goal. Should have had another)

The others were taking Sheffield apart because Jamie Allen x3 was in there winning every second ball and giving the Sheff midfield no time whatsoever.
I do speak slightly in jest though, he had a good game today but certainly Gyokeres was the pick of the bunch today. Plays without fear, happy to just run through people.
