A very good match.
For me JCS almost mom. However that has to go to Viktor. A dominating performance. He gave their central defenders a torrid time.

A great performance against a very good team.

Moore 7 Very confident dealing with crosses today

Rose 6 Not sure why he decided to put the ball out for a throw-in (which led to their goal) rather than let it run out, but generally he was fine
McFadzean 7
Clarke-Salter 7

Dabo 6 Such a chaotic player - he was way off the pace in the first half, not getting forward enough at all, but grew into the game, and I always enjoy watching him
Allen 8 Full of legs and did a great job of linking the defense with the forwards
Hamer 7 Energetic performance (like Allen, he showed some pace today?!) but his final ball was often lacking
Maatsen 7 Really showed his quality today. Not many players on our squad who could pull off that Cruyff turn

O’Hare 8 United clearly had no idea how to handle him. He really should have scored three or four. What a fantastic player.

Gyokeres 8 MOTM His finishing is gash and he often looks like he can’t control his own legs, but he simply terrorised their back line today. Just a relentless performance, no wonder he looked shattered at the final whistle
Godden 7 Never a focal point of the game and missed a sitter, but a lovely dummy before the second goal, and kept busy

Kane 6 Did he pick up a knock after he came on? Looked a bit out of sorts
Waghorn 6 Unlucky not to score

Vik (10) MotM for me, absolutely bullied their defence. O'hare, Hamer, Allen and JCS all 9s and the rest 8s. Best performance of the season despite awful officiating and nobody could've complained if we'd scored double or more. It does beg the question where has that been for the past few weeks but guess we should simply enjoy it.

Fantastic performance. No one had a bad game. Thought Allen was immense in midfield. And Gamer's performances have got even better since he signed his new contract.

Nice that Dabo stayed on the pitch and didn't give away a penalty too.

Allen was great today but he needs to bring more consistency to his game then i will believe he will have a decent career with us.

I know Mark Robins wasn't at the game but the sub's were made by him.

O’Hare didn’t have his best first half but certainly had his best half for us in the second.
It looked like O'Hare had little confidence in the first half until that shot just before half time. Was brilliant after the first goal.

I agree, thought we had a better balance with him in the side today, and Maatsen worked the other wing well.

it wasn’t really a factor - we played much more direct and played over their defence - we really relied very little on wing backs

I just think they added balance. Dabo, was often outnumbered on his flank but coped well with the numbers and pushed forward when needed.

I felt Maatsen was far more involved in an attacking sense, and his contribution and quick feet for the fourth was excellent.

I think the analysis that we were more direct does a disservice to the football we played today.

Direct isn’t a negative. Gyokeres is not great at interplay he’s great at stretching defences and running channels. Today we did that.

I have to be honest I think Maatsen isn’t that great and defensively he’s very poor. Against Luton he was atrocious

If Jamie Allen was everywhere, is that why Ben Sheaf was out (as that's usually his job)
