I would put Reid on for Shipley. Get some aggression on the pitch. We will need to play much better second half if we are to win this. Again too many players not performing. Hamer looks laboured. One piece of quality play led to our goal. Not much else to shout about. I think Gyokeres would cause them problems.

Decent away performance so far. Excellent goal and the occasional good break. Too many errors again though and we look vulnerable at the back. Shipley literally stealing a living in front of our eyes 🤣 you’d think he’d be busting a gut to keep his place.
Rationale of city supporters

All our players are shit unless they are great and we are ok but can’t score unless we do and then we are just shit

He’s solid enough, he just doesn’t suit out attacking style.

Let's wait and see next year with a full pre-season. He's not a dynamic attacking option but his stats suggest about 4/5 assists a season which isn't bad. Plus a couple of goals.

I also feel that it give us the option to move to a back 4 moving forward depending on recruitment goals in summer.

He’s just so fucking lazy and it’s inexcusable (though I’m sure Rob will be along soon to excuse it)
Yeah, but his name is Jordan Shipley, and he's city through and through.......

Sheaf and Hamers passing has been shocking. Shipley deliberately gets himself in positions where he doesn't need to do anything

And if the ball does come to him he hot potatoes it to the nearest man regardless of how much danger it puts us in. Would genuinely rather we recalled Hilßner or resigned Kastaneer. Or pulled a fan out the stands. Makes me genuinely angry to watch him steal a living from the club.

I wouldn't say lazy, just not up to championship standard and it quite obviously shows.

No he’s lazy. He doesn’t run, doesn’t close, doesn’t track, and as someone else said positions himself as far from the action as possible.

Probably our best goal of the season? Absolute quality. Think Derby might make some changes. Agree that I'd swap Shippers, although MR might persevere for a bit in case of any early injuries. I'd get Vik on though to push them back.
