The equipment is only as good as the idiots that use it.

that’s not equipment it’s the 4th official reviewing it and deciding the ref did not make a clear and obvious error in not awarding a penalty - if he had awarded one it’s still given and would not be overruled then

the Derby penalty would still probably stand. Godden would have been deemed a dive against Fulham

I think if the ref had reviewed the one today himself he would have seen he had be suckered.

Some of the fourth officials won’t change the decision as they are scared, Mike Dean had a go at a more junior official for questioning his judgment.

Give it up. It didn 't fail. It worked the way it's supposed to.

I don't think it did, and the point is its been.proven to fail before so no one can say conclusively that it hasn't or won't fail again.

The issue of the other night came up due to a wider debate about VAR otherwise I wouldn't have nentioned it, as I said, I'm not getting too bent out of shape about it

VAR (or lack of) didn't cost us this game. We made some gilt edged chances and failed to take them.

It happens.

Still been a great season. Let's take this style of play into 22/23.

VAR wouldn’t have overturned the refs decision today I don’t think. But the ref might not have given it if VAR was there to back him up though.
