I don’t get the Godden isn’t worth 8 grand a week Argument. There are strikers on four times as much in this league that have worse strike rates. That’s just a ridiculous comment. That’s like saying every good goal scorer in the league only comes from the Championship. There’s plenty of players in League 1, Young Premier league players who COULD potentially score as many as Godden, and be available for a whole season.

Exactly it’s completely hypothetical. Look at the likes of Adebayo from Luton, didnt they get him from Walsall or something. It’s ridiculous to write off the suggestion we couldn’t expect to sign someone who could get 9 goals from open play.

Also I think one of the in the know oriole at the time said we sold Chaplin to get Walker but he opted a loan deal at Lincoln and stay at forest so we had to quickly sign godden
