We will be in the top 5 lowest budgets

No chance. You're not seriously comparing our budget this season, based on our 1st year in the Championship, during a pandemic, played behind closed doors, in another city paying high rent, with less than 4K memberships sold, with next season which will be based on this seasons FAR higher revenues? Seriously? Not a chance in hell it will be bottom 5.

Issue is keeping better players and if we do sell replacing them you can see why people worry we could do a “Barnsley” hopefully SISU give robins 10m though & we can push but let’s be real it’s not happening

I’ll worry at the start of next season once I see who stays, who goes and who comes in. I’ll enjoy the summer reflecting a great season, thankful it’s not the season we went down to league 2

Exactly… just like when they sold O’Hare and Hamer last season like everyone said.

likelyhood Is 1 of them 2 is going, but we’ll get money to replace. Not quite like for like, but Robinshas earned our trust to have a crack

Well said

Do you really see SISU giving robins 5m if we sold O’Hare for 8m ?

Yes, depending on any new big contracts being dished out

I’m no fan of SISU but there’s no evidence from the last couple of years to suggest Robins wouldn’t receive a decent chunk of any transfer income to reinvest

Let’s at least wait and see what happens before getting too downbeat

Hasn’t robins already said some of the budget is going towards new training pitches ?

Yet our best chance was missed by the same player people are crying about being sold and our best player in years.

Truth both you and Grendel are both wrong about O’Hare anyway. He’s not as bad as you think and not as good as Grendel thinks

Tbf I think the concern comes from them being the star players of a team who were expected to have a mediocre season of survival, but have maybe overachieved. Last year they were well under the radar because we did exactly that by finishing 16th.

Was there a single chant from the Telegraph stand?

Quietest game at the Ricoh this season.

You're wasting your breath. Very little money leaves the club, we know that, it is a matter of documented fact, but the 'Joy needs a new handbag' monkeys will invent all sorts of conspiracies to deny this.

I don’t think any top Championship teams would be willing to pay £5-£7m for O’Hare while his finishing is so poor.

Yeah we had a few good chances, sadly we can't afford to spend 19 million on a striker

luton millwall Huddersfield and Forest can’t either

How much would Jamie Allen fetch in the transfer market in your opinion

I get the concern, but there’s a massive jump to people saying “we’ll be the next Barnsley, forgetting that our progress mirrors that of Luton, Milwall and say Preston.
I don’t expect us to be challenging last season, but equally I don’t expect to be near relegation, we’ll be a midtable side with or without O’Hare and Hamer

Unless the recruitment team find more of the same. O’Hare was a free transfer and Gus was £1.5m. So if we do sell them both for £5m why can recruitment find replacements. Unless you are top prem teams that’s what football is about

Get Tavares and Howley on to make it even worse
So is that the way you think towards young players coming through ? Great to see such positive support. Do you think comments like that help ?
