Have the club got target figures? Or are they waiting to see what comes in

I imagine they have got target figures. I expect they'd have a value in mind for pretty much every player in the squad. I doubt we'll find out what that is, or even the true transfer fee if they're sold.

Do we know a ball park figure for the terms of the Gyo deal?

More or less worrying than the start of the season when apparently we hadn't improved and were going down?

Profits in bedsheets around the Coventry area must be through the roof.

Except for the time when Dabo was chosen over him

Tbf from memory, he had had a very limited pre-season and was only just back from injury/illness, that seemed a more enforced than tactical decision... Unless you aren't talking about the Forest game, I seem to remember dabo starting at CB against West brom but pretty sure Hyam played that day too but my memory may be fussy!

Referring to the WBA game when MR confirmed that Hyam was fit but Dabo had been chosen in his place for tactical reasons. Hyam came on at half time

What's Tavares?
Exactly, that's why I was careful to say capable, of around 20 goals, not that they would score that amount. Stats have to be taken in context, Gyo has played 3620 minutes, and this season was 3 goals short of 20. Godden has played 1640 minutes, and maybe he wouldn't have reached 20 if he hadn't been injured but the signs were he wouldn't be far off.
Tavares has played 84 minutes.
Anyone who's career has included working with statistics understands their limitations.

We need to find another Mick Harford. One goal every 16 minutes for us.

That would be over 250 goals per season, and that's just league games. 😄

To be fair, Gyokeres doesn't take pens. Yeah, missed the only 1 he took this season, but you would like to think ge would have scored at least 3 of the 5 godden took had he been given the opportunity, which would have put him on 20. You don't get many 20 goal a season strikers that don't take pens.

To get just shy of 17 in a season without a penalty is an excellent return.

Only 5 scored more from open play in the championship, had it not been fir his injury at Blackburn I dont think he would have such a long lean spell.

Use NPG/90 with a minimum of say 1000mins. Will give you a good base.
