The same police force who did everything it could to not investigate Johnson and the Tories? The same force who wouldn't release details of who'd been fined in case it 'influenced voters'? That's exactly the point - voters should have the information to make an informed decision about who they're voting for. Anf the same force who are now looking into Starmer with seemingly much less to go on than when they steadfastly refused to investigate Johnson? And your worry is that they're Labour!
In fairness part of this comes down to them asking Rees-Mogg for the recommended fine. £50 in his time is a hefty sum.
