Reckon Robins could go for Nakhi Wells? Signed him for Huddersfield and just been told he can leave Bristol City for free.

In short no.

Always found Nakhi Wells interesting, he was always compared to Callum Wilson when both were in league one with similar records. Had nowhere near as good a career and that's even with Wilson's yearly 3 month injury lay off.

Longstaff - wages too high and CM isn’t an urgent need unless we lose Hamer
Tayler - hard pass, attitude, age and not been great season just gone
Would like Weiman, May, Bowler or. leahy (cov lad)

We need a CM even if Hamer stays. We have no cover for him at all and barely any cover for Sheaf of a decent standard.

This is what people still aren’t learning even right after a season where we’ve basically fallen short simply through having no depth.

I would reckon you are looking for players who can drag out a good result away from home against the bottom third of the table, whilst being strong enough to hold their own elsewhere.

In midfield we need players better than what we have and also definitely fits into our style of play, could be a decent loan out of the prem where wages are subsidised and there will be a fee most probably or someone like a Joe Rothwell or John Swift provern top championship players who are on the move but I don’t see either going to the Premiership both costly wage wise but if we want to seriously challenge better than last season we need better players. One positive thing following his recent meeting with Joy and happy to sign a new contract Robins seems upbeat he will have his preferred targets in a row fingers crossed.

Kane Wilson of Forest Green Rovers on a free should be prioritised. League Two player of the year and can play on both left or right foot at wing back and got 14 assists this year

Out of contract players I wouldn’t mind seeing in a cov shirt next season:
Jack Stephens (most likely unrealistic)
Jed Wallace
Lee Buchanan
Darragh Lenihan
Nick Powell
Matej Vydra (most likely unrealistic)
Ryan Nyambe
Alfie Mawson
Josh Koroma
JCS
Yoann Barbett
Patrick Roberts
George Honeyman
Naby Sarr
Tom Barkhuizen
Saido Berahino
Harry Cornick
Charly Musonda Jr
Malik Wilks

From Transfermarkt, so if any have signed new deals blame that and feel free to call me a dickhead, obviously Im not asking for every single player there, some could providegood cover whilst others challenge for spots in the starting 11 whilst others nailed on starters

Styles looks a player

He would be a great signing but probably take a fairly big offer to get him, New York Red Bulls had an offer of £1.5M rejected for him in March.

My guess is probably around 2.5m up to 4m would be their asking price so probably too much to spend especially when there are players out of contract like the FGR LWB and the young Derby LWB, both of which would be good pick ups, would definitely not have as much quality as Styles but would allow us to spend money elsewhere

Dwight Gayle has always scored bag fulls at this level. Too old now though?

We should just sign players we had years ago, or players that have connections to Coventry. That seems to be what some people desire, it’s weird.

Reece Charles Cook, Jordan Willis, Chris Stokes, Jack Stephens, Aaron Phillips, Conor Thomas, John Fleck, Ruben Lameires, James Maddison, Joe Cole, Ryan Kent, Jacob Murphy, George Thomas, Adam Armstrong. I think if we managed to sign all of these players we could make that final push to get back to the Championship after years away
