So. Global Britain would have had a better trade deal with Canada if we’d remained in the EU.

There's nobody lined up to operate a gigafactory at Baginton, never has been. This is all about making money off the land. What odds on a change to the planning to allow housing or some other use once the airport is no longer operational.I guess this could mean the end of the Bagington development.

If you look at this article the potential JLR gigafactories it lists are Redcar or Bristol, no mention of Coventry. I would say its a surprise the council have fallen for this but sadly its not.

Another case of project fear being project here.
As someone quipped, 'people who shit in their own shoes now upset that their socks stink of shite'.
Exactly that being reported today alsoTo be honest, it's a bit concerning and we have a government who seem more interested in continuing to perpetrate the lie that everything brexit related is going smoothly instead of dealing with the issues surrounding it.
The planned cuts, or should that be fucking huge planned cuts, to the civil service will only make things worse.
Exactly that being reported today also

The reality is we need more civil servants not less. We’ve still not taken back control of our borders as we don’t have enough customs officers to do the checks, HMRC is looking for compensation for the infrastructure the government made it invest in ahead of brexit that is now sitting unused due to the staff shortage and the fact that the government keeps postponing brexit because as the minister for brexit opportunities confirmed it would be an exercise in self harm, that’s JRM admitting that brexit is an exercise in self harm, also handing a trading advantage to the EU as our exports are subject to checks on entry to the EU whereas EU goods enter the UK unchecked.Bloody hell! Brings it home when you see the civil servant to member of the public ratio. And now with added areas of responsibility.
Yes I agree.
But I also like seeing people who 'knew what they voted for' getting exactly what they voted for.
Campaign for getting a referendum to reverse it and get it in labours manifesto
Campaign for getting a referendum to reverse it and get it in labours manifesto
Surely the people wanting to campaign for change would be those that voted Leave and have got precisely none of the benefits they were promised
Well then they’ll be outraged and want to get back in with a group huddle with Shultz and Macron?
No of course not, but if they had more than a couple of braincells between them they'd be pretty furious at not getting any of the benefits they were promised.
But no, keep on blaming Remainers and the EU.
Well if they are outraged they’d demand a return wouldn’t they?
You really do struggle with comprehension at times.
Well if they are outraged they’d demand a return wouldn’t they?
Or they can demand than the government deliver the brexit they promised.
Or they can demand than the government deliver the brexit they promised.
Exactly. Not sure why that's beyond comprehension for Grendel.
At this point Leavers have to admit one of two things:
1) They were lied to/the government has not delivered what they promised
or
2) They willingly voted for this shit show, knowing it was going to be this bad
If they can't admit either of those things and genuinely think Brexit is going well then they're just totally blinded by the cult of Brexit (or a bit thick).
no as it’s achieved what actual people who voted for it - that’s the laugh - this thread is remainer people - it’s you that’s thick as you can’t see it
Not according to polling of vote leavers. The exact opposite of what you’re claiming is true. The brexit promised perspective for most leavers has been

Actual people who voted for it wanted Sinn Fein to rule NI?
They have 51% of the vote? Wow didn’t know that
No it hasn't. Literally the exact opposite actually.
Nor do the Tories yet here we are
