Every thread. I just don’t think you are able to debate one topic. It’s a flaw

Aaaww. Someone is feeling left out because he’s only got ADM and Booch’s later incarnation to echo his prejudices. Poor gwendull.lol you don’t want a debate you want a bunch of idiots echoing your prejudice
As I said, korma and milk. At least at trade union meetings we start with a balti
I'd disagree with Blair - he was Labour, if pragmatic Labour.the fact is politics is a very silly game now.
In the days of Kinnock vs thatcher or major there was a purpose. Now it’s just a game.
Blair / Cameron / clegg are just politicians and could be in any party
Let’s be honest. Gordon brown was the last leader of any party who actually had any integrity - well you could also say May I guess
look what happened to them

Kinnock possibly the best speaker i've heard in my lifetime. 20 years earlier and he'd have been PM. Guess he shows as they do now, things change.
Saw the colour of Murdoch’s money you mean.Blair was a member of a Marxist group anti Eu and CND - he saw the light!
I was always a bit puzzled why Kinnock failed against major - his keynote speech in Sheffield backfired - ive met his son a couple of times and he’s a good guy as well

oh and Corbyn of course
I've accidentally barged Kinnock out of a doorway. He's quite short!Blair was a member of a Marxist group anti Eu and CND - he saw the light!

I suspect ginger and Welsh didn't help at the time. Ironically not being London based probably would now. And Major benefited from whatever the next Tory leader will - new broom, seen as a refreshing change even if the party is same old same old.
My earliest political memory is my parents saying they would emigrate if Blair got in. We lived in Major's constituency and indeed emigrated-back to Coventry.
Though I do agree on the general point. May just looked to be doing a weak Thatcher tribute act with none of the authority. Corbyn whatever your opinion of him certainly believed what he said and for me that was the appeal in a dismal 2015 field. There were some eyebrows raised at the latest union meeting where a socialist party member went 'well what are we going to do about Labour' to which I replied 'we had Corbyn for 4 years, you've had your chance'.
Politics in the UK is just lacking in a true statesman
May since Heath is the only PM kicked out whose stuck around - so she believes in the system and public duty
Starmer and Johnson would be off in an instant - Starmer is even writing a book! Johnson will do and make a killing on tbe after dinner circuit
Because elected when leader though, stood aside as soon as the next election came around. May actually decided to fight for her seat.Well not quite, Brown remained as an MP for another 5 years and of course made that famous intervention in the indyref

Every now and again she's bared her teeth slightly, but she's been a lot less of a critic on the back benches than Heath was with Thatcher! What I meant was she was since Heath the only PM who then stood again for election

What goes around and all that. She'll definitely be in the no confidence camp!I bet she’s loving life tonight though
Sky news reporter nearly did! It came out as c-huntThe most disappointing thing today is someone not getting Jeremy Hunt's surname wrong.

Well i suspect within 12 months that is probably that. 148 but he is very different to the likes of May
He certainly won't quit unless forced to. There were rumours that they'd all go on a vote strike if he decided to stay - that'd end up carnage!Well i suspect within 12 months that is probably that. 148 but he is very different to the likes of May

Very true, he has no honour or dignity, so will cling on to the bitter end.Well i suspect within 12 months that is probably that. 148 but he is very different to the likes of May
Well I mean he's a literal criminal and a majority of his MPs are fine with it so you're probably right.
