So man City wouldn't have delayed him being released no?That Man City lad going elsewhere is our own fault for chasing JCS which always looked unlikely.
I doubt he was best pleased either knowing he was second choice.
It's been said there was no 2nd choice. The plan was JCS AND Egan-Riley.That Man City lad going elsewhere is our own fault for chasing JCS which always looked unlikely.

just read SBB saying the plan was ST, AM and CB. Three players so although it's encouraging that we were looking at two decent CBs I doubt it.It's been said there was no 2nd choice. The plan was JCS AND Egan-Riley.

He also said looking at 2/3 fringe players toojust read SBB saying the plan was ST, AM and CB. Three players so although it's encouraging that we were looking at two decent CBs I doubt it.
He must have been looked at for the middle of the three then unless one of Hyam or Rose is destined for there. But he wasn't, he's a rcb and JCS is a lcb so different position and wouldn't have affected each other
Didn't The Sun sack him off?Nixon’s got a bit in the paper about us tomorrow apparently
My thoughts was Rose back up in the middle and ER on the right sideHe must have been looked at for the middle of the three then unless one of Hyam or Rose is destined for there.
I hope the plan isn't to have one of those two at LCB again.
No. Still has his column in the Sun. Everyone will slate the Sun but they are excellent for sport. Imagine they pay hefty retainers to a number of agents to leak stories. Suits all parties.Didn't The Sun sack him off?
He posts on Patreon now and blocks people who dare to tweet screenshots of his posts.

Whatever they pay is better for us. Every penny counts!Good news but what percentage of his wage would they cover?
Who said ?It's been said there was no 2nd choice. The plan was JCS AND Egan-Riley.
he isn't a lcb like jcs isWho said ?
Yes, we have 3 for a 3 at the back systemDid we really need another 2 CB’s?!
I think it will be Baba Rahmen or Lee Buchanan, definitely not because I suggested them bothInterested who we go for at left back, few realistic options have already moved
Will it not be McCallum?Interested who we go for at left back, few realistic options have already moved
Fulham launch transfer bid for Coventry midfielder Gustavo Hamer

Don’t think our “big 3” are going to attract the massive fees some think if the best clubs linked are Fulham…

So are most of them, even Joy allegedly…Fulham are owned by a billionaire
Don't think it would work with individual players. Pure speculation, but it is how I worked in a different industry. Imagine you are an agent or a member of a recruitment team. You look at stats, individual players and assess their worth. Also you look at your competitors and see who is punching above their weight and the reasons why that is. You look at Coventry who have a bottom four budget but may have made the playoffs with a bit more luck and less injuries. You look at recruitment overall and think they are doing well in general and clearly better than most. Agents sell their players by saying something along the lines " Coventry are desperate to sign him so must be good". Recruiters think along the same lines. Coventry have a record for finding great talent lets do our due diligence on this player and see if they are right. Regarding the players from overseas etc, you are right we have not done so well...Jobello was bought for league 1 and got injured badly, both Hillsner and Kastaneer were awesome youth players. Hillsner played for his country, Germany when he was younger. MR said technically he was very good but his fitness problems have scuppered him. Waghorn is experienced and physical and injury ruined his season. May come good or move on. Worried he has not had an op for his shoulder. DaCosta looks a beast but you cant win them all. I am concerned we will become victims of our own success and richer clubs will beat us to the better players available. That said, we must surely be following the Valencia model of brilliant football and a list of players for each position where you miss out on one and move on to the next in line. Think it was Valencia who developed that really obvious method.Maybe when they look at Hamer, Shsaf, O'Hare and Gyokeres, but then again would they not be worried that he might be another Hillsner, Dacosta, Kastaneer or Jobello? Or Wagehorn?
Quite like the look of Tom Bloxham. Shrewsbury owe us one anyways.
