He does it week in week out.He breaks up play, has great passing and set piece delivery. He's everything you want from a CM.
Totally missed the point.Maddison was either 18 or 19 then hardly a fair comparison. Both are 25 and I think at the moment Maddison is the better of the two.
His vision is great too..also hes 2 steps ahead of most players he tries a bit too much at times. He actually has 2 great feet. Big frustration like most our players he should shoot more as he has a great shot.He breaks up play, has great passing and set piece delivery. He's everything you want from a CM.
At the point of playing for us!!Maddison was either 18 or 19 then hardly a fair comparison. Both are 25 and I think at the moment Maddison is the better of the two.
I would sooner have Hamer than Carsley. Hamer is a far more gifted footballer. He may have played hundreds of top flight games but the standard of player has risen enormously since Carsley time. Would he get into a PL team these days? I don't think so.You are falling into the overall career scenario here G. Yes, I know he played hundreds of times for Everton.
At this stage I was playing football myself so watching City was not possible week in week out, but - geniune question- how good was Carsley for us in the second tier? (Expecting a particular three word answer from you here! )
I can't be arsed to read this thread. All I know is he is the best footballer we have had post Prem-relegation.
Still remember that day, most specifically the article in The Pink afterwards. It mentioned that we shouldn’t accept promotion in 2nd place. This was after (from memory) two late goals from corners against Stockport!.@Grendel - for discussion - first game vs Stockport ! View attachment 25068
I think we have had bids this week for all three , it’s always been accepted one will go and Hamer unfortunately is the favoured one and I think he probably needs a fresh start and to get away from the area . The hope is we keep it to onehope they get relegated, greedy little man

According to you last season you thought he was rubbish and over rated . As was your judgement Maddison. Going back to Hamer Wasnt you laughing at suggestions hes worth x millions. Particularly when I was drooling over him game after game. Hes a stand out. Glad you have gone very quiet this quiet about him.
Your judgement of players is laughable.
To get away from the area? Who has he shagged?I think we have had bids this week for all three , it’s always been accepted one will go and Hamer unfortunately is the favoured one and I think he probably needs a fresh start and to get away from the area . The hope is we keep it to one

Been bored shitless today. What's your excuse ...I'd forgotten you live on this site.hello haven’t heard from you for a while been on the piss as usual? - people do confuse me with others on here one poster described him as a penguin another as shit and one thread in particular tore him apart - Hamer hasn’t gone anywhere and anyway we have the immense superb Jamie Allen so no loss really
Hamer is far and away one of, if not the best technical footballers we have had since relegation. Some suggestions are really obsurd but Lee fucking Carsley takes the absolute biscuit.
Lee Carsley who played around 300 games in the Premier League and had 40 international caps? Different types of players but no mistake, he had a great career and was a quality player, he left a massive hole when he left.Hamer is far and away one of, if not the best technical footballers we have had since relegation. Totally disagreeDisagree, he's the one we can afford to lose
