Hamer bids (8 Viewers)

Don’t get me wrong it will be gutting whenever we lose one of ‘the big 3’ but we have to trust in the process. In Robins tenure we have been disappointed in losing Thomas, McNulty, Bayliss, Walsh, McCallum and we have kept progressing and signing improvements.

I am hoping that the reason we have had a quiet window so far, by Robins quick out of the blocks standards, is because we have been lining up replacements. Transfers often happen like dominos at this level, where we will only allow a team to speak to a player once we have an agreed replacement lined up.

I will be sad to see Hamer, COH or Gyokeres go but I trust in Robins - just like I did when he brought them in and I’d never heard of them!

This, we sold our best players before SISU and will continue to do after they decide to leave (whenever that may be) so I don’t understand the mass hysteria all of a sudden

I trust Robins will get a fair chunk to reinvest and I expect he will do it well, as he always has, I don’t think he would have committed to a new deal if he was told otherwise, his stock is that high he would walk into another job

Whilst we have MR we will keep ticking along a positive path I’m sure of it

The fee I've heard today will cause outrage with fans. I'm sure the ITK's on here will have heard it.

We will never know the fee but if it isn't given a ballpark figure where we were hoping (6-8 Mill I would say is realistic) it's likely to start causing some serious unrest.

Hope he goes sooner rather than later, same if O’Hare is going to go. Let us get on with rebuilding.

By the time the transfers have been completed all the decent player's will have signed for other clubs.

If that is the price then it shows how desperate we are to bring some money in. If a bloke has just come out of league one for four million this seems a bit light short to me.

Totally agree. Couldn't believe it when I heard it.

I don't think signing on fees will be any useful like Maddison previously. At Hamer's age, unless he stands out in the PL, he won't go for mega money in future, probably won't play international and isn't going to win anything.

We need to pray for a bidding war with Leeds United etc.
The thing is though, if there is a release clause of say , 9.5 mil, as has been speculated, any club that offers that, the player can speak to.
If Fulham offer 15, and say 30k pw but Leeds offer 9.5 and offer 50k pw, both bids are accepted by the club and it is then down to the player, I believe.

If the release clause is £9.5m why would Fulham bother offering £15m?
Exactly- all speculation.
I was pointing out a scenario where a "bidding war" would not happen.
Even if 15m is "the acceptable price", then all clubs offer 15, then individual contract offers are what would sway a player towards a club.

100% lie that he was in London yesterday. He was on a birthday night out in Samoan Joe's. Had a chat with him top fella says he loves the fans.
Earned a shot at the premier league, but I'd love him to stay

These two locations can be visited in one day. Why is it so hard to comprehend?

It’s possible to be in Milan in the morning and back here for Tipping Point. So why not London to here?!

Because he was also pictured in training in the day. doubt he's rushed down and back up in one go just to make it out to Samoan Joe's

Agree...also, saying he "loves the fans" and "doesn't want to leave" don't mean that he is staying too.
If the club accept an offer, he's pretty much off, despite him loving the the fans and not wanting to leave!
Can love the club, but still leave!

Come on Shep. Some football fans are the most impressionable species on the planet.

I cant see Fulham being the club that gets him in the end. And definitely cant see 5 mil being the figure. Id go further South of Fulham and way north of 5mill.
