At least you waited until he had died to post that was dead unlike Zahawi who posted it before he'd actually died, ever thought of becoming tory leader?

On a more serious note, this will no doubt be used by NRA nut jobs to prove strict gun controls don't work even though shootings are extremely rare in Japan.

Neither of my kids have had anything to recognise the pandemic aside from teachers going “Oh they’ve missed a lot of school so we’re trying to do everything quickly, but we’ve had to skip X Y a and Z”.

Absolutely pathetic and will damage the country for decades to come.

I have been listening to a bit of lbc and the main attack on Sir Keir seems to be that he is a bit grey and boring, is that such a bad thing we have just had a bloke was incompetent but could play the crowd and look how successful that has been.

Just heard some idiot going on about him being a liar as he said he had pizza on that night and it was actually a curry, he did seem distraught though that the wonderful Johnson had gone.

I haven’t checked it out but like you I’ve been listening to LBC most of the day and one caller claimed that when he married Carrie to marry in the Catholic Church he had to have his previous marriages annulled rendering all his children illegitimate. If that’s true then holly shit. And what would it say about her too, we can get married but only on the condition that you make your children bastards in the eyes of the law. Can’t be right, surely.

Johnson 'just had a bit of cake'
Don't you know there's a war on
Labour need to stop trying to cancel Brexit and accept the result
Johnson is an anti-establishment crusader who has been turfed out for exposing them

TBF I felt a bit sorry for him getting a FPN. His defence of I thought I was going to a meeting and knew nothing about the cake seemed at least credible. Maybe there was more to it than that hence the fine but it was at least more credible than a cake ambush.

I don't understand why he wasn't forced to resign. The argument was that Johnson couldn't over the FPN because of the urgency if Ukraine (despite Grendel saying the war had no relevance to us at all). This argument didn't apply to Sunak so I don't know why he git away with it.
