I cant remember who mentioned it before but Joe Bryan would be nice on loan from Fulham, fits the description from SBB, Left sided defender on loan from recently promoted PL club

Got a name to throw out there after one of the ITKs said the second player due to come in was a left sided defender from a newly promoted team, Jordan Zemura LWB from Bournemouth. Quite highly regarded there but they do have cover in that position so he may struggle for game time in the Prem.

I'd prefer Joe Bryan though in fairness.

Thats a fair point, but perhaps we would only be paying a percentage of that if we signed him

Who do we recon the player from "top premiership club" is?

Callum Doyle at Man City plays both positions, probably due a season in the championship

Alvaro Fernandez would fit the bill

Doyle was at Sunderland last season. Played CB there I think, not sure he particularly stood out but did get 36 games under his belt in mens football.

He was a key player for the England U19 side that won the Euros this summer. Played more as LB/LWB I think.

That’d be interesting and would mean one of our current ones move on? I think it may well be Rose, just a hunch but I don’t think his relationship with MR is particularly great. Then there’s linking him to Prem clubs every year…

If Rose moves on I can see him moving back to Scotland to a team like Aberdeen or something

I get playing people out of position is an issue however injuries etc dictate that at most clubs at some point during the season.

Hyam Fadz Panzo/Doyle depending on who looks better. I’d be worried if he is the other one though. Two essentially unproven CBs is a worry. Unless Doyle is being repurposed as a LWB.
