What do you disagree with @Grendel

All of it. It’s hardly a independent piece is it? It’s from a fruit loop - her twitter account is unhinged - if I was Mordaunt I’d be calling for police protection - she’s obsessive

Labour `leaking' to journos that Mordaunts the one they fear and getting Mirror editor to do same same on GBNews is gonna get sussed soon

They used similar reverse psychology in '01 to publicise Portillo over Clarke and seems to be working again 🤷‍♂️

There is a frantic campaign to stop her - we all know why

Have read several articles about the candidates over the last few days, obviously certain things you take with a pinch of salt. But here's my take on why Mordaunt is a shoe in for PM
Not accountable in roles tick
Goes missing tick
Moved on from role she wasn't up to tick
Cannot do detail tick

I was just thinking she reminds me of someone else in politics recently but can't put a name to him at the moment 🤣

Most of the briefing against Mordaunt is coming from the right. They want Truss (probably because she's the easiest to act as their puppet).

And on the information included?

The information is a vague assessment of her voting record and assumptions made. She isn’t Donald trump it’s just a lazy stereotype

Where’s the Tories’ obsession about transsexuals come from?
Dead cat politics.

Going on about whether real people are actually bothered about single use, shared bogs (we're not), means they've got less time to take questions on the cost of living crisis and what their actual policies are, to tackle said cost of living crisis.

You need to look on Mumsnet. This is an absolutely massive issue.

Any of them with a progressive policy on climate change by any chance? No, I didn't think so. Not important enough, let's just stick to the tax cuts and culture wars nonsense.

Just Tugendhat and Badenoch haven’t said they’ll keep net zero for 2050. Though it’s such a woolly target I don’t know how much that means.

Targets 30 years away are meaningless. I want to hear what the plan is for 2025 or 2030.

There was some promise made on petrol/diesel cars by 2030 I think. It’s too little too late really, the US and China between them will dwarf whatever small contribution we make.

Looking increasingly likely Truss will get it.

Got
I reckon so too - I also expect that it won’t even get to a members’ vote.

It will defo go to members vote, they’ve pretty much committed to it. I’m hoping debates might show truss up a bit. Won’t be happy is she wins but got a bad feeling
