don't think he wants to spendYou think his answers about keeping tax up to fund public services is austerity? The others all want to slash and burn - he's the only one who wants to tax and spend!

He does more than the others!don't think he wants to spend

Not sure what he says and what he will do quite correspond. He said previously about his desire to balance the books. That says austerity to me.You think his answers about keeping tax up to fund public services is austerity? The others all want to slash and burn - he's the only one who wants to tax and spend!

I read it as he wants to up taxes up to pay for what has already been spent, don't think there's much new money to come from himNot sure what he says and what he will do quite correspond. He said previously about his desire to balance the books. That says austerity to me.
Grenners, it seems that you live rent free in O' Day's head. Probably sharing his bedsit. Is that you in the background? Explains a lot to be fair.
Is there anything these pricks won't try and turn into a culture war?
But you can balance the books by raising taxes. And why on earth in a Tory leadership contest would he lie about keeping them high, only to cut them?!?Not sure what he says and what he will do quite correspond. He said previously about his desire to balance the books. That says austerity to me.
They certainly do!that is a low starting point, still I'll give him the fact he is the only one who is being honest.
the rest just want to out tory each other
Tories think they can balance the books with "sensible fiscal policy" i.e. raising taxes and cutting servicesBut you can balance the books by raising taxes. And why on earth in a Tory leadership contest would he lie about keeping them high, only to cut them?!?
They certainly do!
To be fair, he always said he would cut taxes, just not Immediately. They are already programmed in for 2 years time. But you can balance the books by raising taxes. And why on earth in a Tory leadership contest would he lie about keeping them high, only to cut them?!?

Most women i know don't support the JK Rowlings approach to this issue, and support trans rights. Mumsnet us not representative of most women.Pretty much 50% of the population are women and women seem to be very up in arms about it all.
Absolutely. Even the BBC were really culpable in this. There was a polarisation in a minority of the population, most didn't really care. The media gave far greater weight to it (Farage got the kind of airtime even pre referendum that any other party with no MPs just wouldn't get) and made it more of an issue than it is or was.

Short term Truss would be a disaster but surely it wouldn't last long.Well if Mordaunt gets through it seems the membership will pick her. For Labour you’d want Truss-for the country probably not.

ChristTugenhadt coming across the best (mostly by not being a complete idiot). Nice little dig at Sunak there

It's not about supporting trans rights though. Surely everyone supports trans rights. Most women i know don't support the JK Rowlings approach to this issue, and support trans rights. Mumsnet us not representative of most women.
PM said that trans women are women and trans men are men. That's a very dangerous stance to hold. It's not about supporting trans rights though. Surely everyone supports trans rights.
It's about trans men "becoming" women and being able to gain access to women's toilets and changing rooms etc.
I'm not...
They really shouldn't should they. It says much more about the opposition than it does about them doesn't itI've just sat here and thought
Nothing would make me wonder what is wrong with Britain more than if the Tory Party won the next GE
