O'Hare bids (19 Viewers)

Beyond McFadzean, the side's not got much in it where there's the worry it's a season too far as well.

Other problem though is if one goes without being replaced, how does the squad respond? Backs to wall all in it together, or where's my move too? You hope for the former of course!
They’d be replaced just unlikely to be much of a fee

I'm not sure I'd count that as replacement though, more filling a gap. Surely this season's O'Hare on a free has already been snapped up?

I think it's pretty clear O'Hare is going to go and it wouldn't surprise me if he goes below market value

I'd be annoyed if he does go below market value but I would be even more annoyed if Mark Robins doesn't get at least 50% to reinvest into the squad

Think he’s been clear that the wages will be available

OHare is gone next week to Burnley.
Price ok with add ons should Burnley get promoted. Great wage for Callum, can nt turn the move down. Gutted but hey ho.
Sadly has happened.

£6-8m is what I said, so it’s right at the low end, what would be really criminal is not giving £1-2m back to Robins to get the next player in. That’s the sort of thing that starts the decline of the club.

I think £8m I'd be happy with (just about). Let's hope it's closer to that. As you say, reinvestment is a must.

I'd go with an O'Hare replacement plus either a defender or young defensive midfielder (Kelly replacement).

Look at what they paid for Twine. It’s just them assuming they can get away with bidding less than he’s worth because Boddy is too scared to lose a fee of any kind.

We should be demanding £10m minimum considering how hard to replace he is.

I think at least £8m plus add ons.

Well my mate spoke to Tim fishers dog and he said the offer was 50p and a mars bar but we are haggling over the mars bar as we want a king size one

Why the fuck would overson know about the inner workings of transfer deals out of the club, but again people are going batshit over unsubstantiated rumours (like they did when Hamer was apparently going down the motorway to speak to Fulham) because it's an excuse to go boo Sisu

He does know the ins.

Not saying we should be selling as we are hardly in dire straights and desperate, however, 6m for Ohare is about his market value tbh

I would say a fee of £10m, some in instalments fair enough, and stacked with add ons. We know they have the money, we know they really want him, we know he’s not agitating to leave so let’s extract as much as we can.

If it’s 6m and only wages to replace him then that gives some 11/12 vibes along with some serious fan unrest.

Yeah, exactly. I really don't want to go back to the days of constant Sisu Out chants. It's no fun for anyone.

It would be one very quick way to burn a lot of goodwill from the fan base. Hold on for one more season then you could well let all of the key players be sold and replaced with a fresh intake when combined with the expiry of less desired players’ contracts.

I get there’s financial pressure now but risking our league status for a quick buck is arguably more dangerous.

Counter to that is that selling all 3 at the same time may cause a worse fan reaction, and the turnover would create greater risk.
