tbf, he has the personnel, and he's always shown himself as pragmatic, using the tools he has. Also got one of the best chairmen out there... but said chairman doesn't always get the management decisions right.

Even if the 3 promoted clubs come from the above, that's 3 clubs who will feel they have underperformed, given their activity. A few wannabes beneath in Luton, QPR etc. To be honest, the only reason I'd want to get promoted is for the money that would change the club, rather than the 'playing Liverpools etc'. Give me last season (in terms of entertainment) on repeat and i'd be happy - although we know that it's difficult to 'stand still'. Steady progress is fine, but at some point, something integral has to happen for us to make significant progress (Tayo as the new Djed Spence would do for starters!)
