Maybe its just the circles I've been in but my schooldays were in Rugby where I can only ever recall 3 Villa fans, who were all ridiculed (and bullied sad to say) relentlessly. As an adult in the 20 or so years I lived in Cov I honestly never came across a Villa fan from Cov.

I heard that now O'Hare is injured Boddy has dropped the asking price from £4m (which was somehow both undervalued and overvalued) to 50p in a desperate bid to flog him.

He may have travelled by himself, sometimes the players drive to places, I remember a couple of occasions when Godden drove. I wonder if Cal will drive himself and have a pitstop to tell Burnley to Fuck off

I'm actually sticking up for our fans , I'm saying that many people in Warwickshire don't care about football , it's quite an affluent place , they like rugby union more

We have many students too living in Coventry
Just out of interest do we know if the city have much of a ‘presence’ at the Universities?
I play football with a bloke who goes to games cos he was a student in Cov and got hooked.

I work with the biggest Liverpool supporter in the world who has seen every game and purchased every shirt Liverpool fc have manufactured, and I must confess wept after their first premiership title in thirty years, but sadly he has never got off his fat arse to ever walk into anfield once in his 45 years on this planet.

He even uses the word ’we’ when he talks about Liverpool!

How does that work?
There’s loads like that. It seems strange to me but I guess supporting a team is a bit odd.

I remember reading an article, about which team I can’t remember, and the writer confessing he hadn’t seen his team play for 30 years. However, went on to say that if they lose he still can’t bring himself to read the match report.

It won’t be officially confirmed until the line-up comes out but Better Days said it’s accurate, and there is plenty of other evidence as well.
Ok, honestly, I’m not being argumentative, but I don’t see any evidence apart from a wafted rumour that he’s out for four months.
If he is, fair enough, but this has got a ticket to Burnley written all over it!

Next at the First Dates restaurant is 38 year old Vincent from Burnley. Vincent is looking for an attacking midfielder with the ability to sing choons while holding a beatbox in the street.

‘I’m feeling nervous Fred, my date hasn’t shown up yet’, he says.

Hes probably confused as some fat bald chap has turned up with a load of photos of players asking him if he’d be interested in any of them instead

Interesting wording re the Ohare injury “tweaked hamstring” is very suspicious wording. It’s got feigning injury vibes for hopeful imminent transfer🤣

“Last kick of training on Friday he tried to back heel a ball and tweaked his hamstring, so he misses out today unfortunately.

“It’s bad news for us and Callum, so we’ll just have to wait and see. We’ll give him time and see how it settles down, but we have no idea how long it’s going to be at the moment."
