I’m sorry my efforts in block 15 wasn’t enough. My lost voice must have been from having a go not supporting the lads first game of the season for me.

I’ll make sure to not renew so as to not cause any more distress.

He wasn’t blaming the fans. He was suggesting that you could sense a nervousness/edge and frustration in the air and the players need to block that out. He’s annoyance was about the pitch situation.

I think he was right. It was far more tense than last season.

It wasn't booing, but the groans were very audible. Never good.

There was a lot to groan about. Groaning is completely different to booing or abusing players.

No I wouldnt, that is completely different. He wants us to get behind the team in this tough time, and I agree. If he told me to eat shit I’d tell him where to shove it (not my mouth)

There was thousands of fans there behind the team tonight.

Is it really that much of a tough time for the players?

It's fucking outrageous tbh. There was zero negativity around me. People making shit up so they can feel superior.

Chatting to a Preston fan on the walk home and he commented on how noisy our fans were today (and we can be a lot noisier of course) and said last season we were the best home fans he saw. Maybe he was blowing smoke, but some clowns on here think it was 'toxic'. They can't possibly have been at the game.

Agreed but it's a more challenging environment to last season where, especially at the start of the season, fans didn't bat an eyelid at mistakes.

Even the drummer was banging the drum at every mistake.

We may as well not bother with any away games where the nasty home fans might say nasty things to our players and cheer every mistake.

Whatever was wrong tonight wasn’t the fans fault. It’s hard to bounce about like deranged monkeys when the performance was so poor. Robins wasn’t really questioning fans support in his interview but just asking for patience with the situation . Personally Mr Robins though mate …..when you need a morale boosting result to kick start the season you play your best fucking 11 from the start , simple as !
Eccles and Waghorn were utter shite and Allen frustrates the hell out of me….he’s becoming Robins Paul Telfer.

You're actually right though, the squad is soft as fuck. At Millwall we caved under the pressure. Even at Hull Saturday, the fans got behind their team and we struggled.

Collectively as a team, we look like kids against men. I remember Robins mentioning being 'streetwise' in League 2 and he's never enforced it. No pressure on the referees for any decisions.

And on that note, I wish you all a tatty-bye! Shit game, will probably lose more players, and MR will leave.

What are you on about the performance wasnt poor, most of the team played quite well, Waghorn looked sharp, just first touch on occasion was lacking, Eccles looked better than the previous games, not enough going forward though, agree on Allen though, runs around like a headless chicken

Robins set us up to defensive at the start Eccles offers little going forward at wing back.

He needs to stop moaning about the pitch it’s done now move on.

Sensible owners would be releasing more cash we need a bit more experience and players that want to move forward with the ball.

Waste of time putting Tavares on at 88 minutes after starting Waghorn whose brain is now as slow as his legs.

Impressed with Bidwell tonight.

Defeat, a poor performance, questionable team selection and yet somehow people have managed to make this about the support, despite the fact we were urging the team on until the end and provided backing that many teams in this league would love to have. Staggered. This was the last thing I expected to see when I logged on. I was actually going to comment that it was reassuring to see the fans stick with the team. This is all a bit fucking weird tbh.
