For me last night was pretty disheartening, but not as much just about the result as about the general situation. We're disadvantaged by so many things that are just not a consideration at 99% of clubs.

May surprise some but it was the first time I've left a game feeling disillusioned because of what I was watching.

Then we get 5 rather than 8 during which Preston waste time culminating in the bizarre situation where Kasey wrestles the ball and the player is booked while the other Preston players throw the ball to one another behind his back for about a minute and we then play 19 secs extra

What’s the point of being tough on the rules on gamesmanship if you man in the middle makes it possible for them to fuck around like they did?

We wouldn’t have scored but so so frustrating

In fairness it’s just our luck at the moment, the defending granted was abit all over the plac, but naturally when Fadz threw himself at the ball and got a good block in, instead of going for a corner or anything else, it pinged perfectly to feet to the 1 bloke in the middle of the area.

Yeah, that was very amusing. Just before he jumped up one of our players - couldn't see who it was from our end - said something to the ref. Something the player wasn't happy with and he soon forgot all about his "injury".
