Surely IF we keep the big 3 it won't be that much of a bad window?

Check back on the posts on the forums. Most posters said exactly that but the sale of Hyam has put everyone on edge as it was unexpected and below SBT's valuation. It's left us short at the back but when CoH is fit, we'll have practically the same team as we finished last season with. Everyone was hoping we'd move forward this season but it's not looking like happening now. Couple of loans in the next 85 mins or a few free agents to fill some gaps and everyone will be happy again.

Just get through this season in one piece and take anything else as a bonus.

Am I right in assuming, like previous years, the loan window is open a little bit longer than the transfer window, or have they brought it all in line now?

Forest have signed their 20th player, subject to work permit and other formals.

And Blackburn are not selling Brereton-Diaz after Everton and Fulham were chasing him. Watch them move for Vik now :(

It's changed. Everything ends tonight. We only can sign free agents after today.

As I said. We've sold our best defender and stood still everywhere else while every other team has improved. Its a shocking window

How can every other team have improved. If they have signed 'better' players, then the 'better' players have left another team (who should be weaker) unless the players have all dropped down from the PL (which they won't have). If you'd have said the big 3/4 were still going to have been here at the end of tonight, everybody would have been delighted. It's our league position that is colouring peoples' views.

Spot on. Also the sale of Hyam. A player who was hardly mentioned in any thread. It was all about keeping the Big Three, which we have done.
