The defence was shit last season and you've just made the point we've made it worse by replacing two experienced championship players with two kids that have barely played at this level.

Continue popping off at posters though.
No more or less shit than other clubs last season... Doyle and Panzo will do fine

I'm also advocating for a change in formation. If we aren't very good at the back then we could, I suppose, focus on just trying to outscore the enemy instead. A 4-3-3 does make sense for me as well. The wingers (certainly on the right side) don't create enough anyway, so just bin it off. We have enough strikers that should be capable so play three of them together. I would say we would be paying to our strengths better by doing it this way.

While I agree in general, the midfield getting overrun has meant the weak defence is exposed more while no matter how many forwards there are they see little of the ball.

Yeah, you're making an already fragile area even weaker by going to back 4. And with the forwards we have we will have no width. It would be Gyok cutting in from the left and Waghorn cutting in from the left.

Rose will be given a chance too, although he plays best in the centre of a 3. The left foot/right foot balance is off, but I expect we will see both Doyle and Panzo starting together soon
It's always puzzled me that it's too many left footers if you have two, but having two right footers is correct-why is that? Could we not play Doyle and Panzo at CB? More to the point should we not play them both at CB!? Just stick Rose on the right. Fadz is looking another year older after all.

Generally speaking you want a natural left footer at left CB and a natural right footed player on the the right. Especially when a back 3 as it opens the pitch up. You can play on the wrong side but players tend to cut inside and aren't as effective defending their touch line. All I am saying is Rose will be preferred due to his right foot, however, if he doesn't perform I think Robins will play Panzo on the right

No I know but people generally speak as if the central one needs to be right-footed whereas I don't see anything wrong with 2 left footers and say Rose on the right. Apart from we've still got Rose in the defence and he is rubbish.
