We are carrying Godden and the lack of centre backs looks severe now if Rose is injured.

Godden and Gyokeres…doesn’t work. Play with two attacking midfielders instead who can track opposition full backs. Fed up of seeing Godden chasing out wide.

I’m fed up of seeing the ball given away so needlessly. I’m fed up of conceding laughable goals every week. Fed up of the opposition fans having a jolly old time at our expense.

Robins should resign from this farce while he has some stock left

Now we’ve got three for first team centre halves for three positions for probably a few games now. So none of them can get subbed, suspended or injured. And two of them are loans. Great.

As well as Gyok, O’Hare and Hamer, I’m doubting Robins will be here next year. What more can he do? You can’t keep buying players and turning them into ones worth several times what you paid for them only to have the rug pulled from under your feet by the owners. He’ll probably feel he’s hit the ceiling of what can be achieved.

We only sold Hyam...

Haven't read the whole thread but not seen anyone mention Fadz, he's been abject.
Get Godden off as well.
The whole defence is embarrassingly poor, only one who's not been horrendous at the start of the season is Bidwell. You know the one all our fans call shit

Defensively very poor. Rabbits in headlights every Luton attack. Dabo just not the same player, fadz past his best, panzo and Doyle have lots to learn. Bidwell ok so far.
Sheaf one great ball but him, Allen and Hamer need to move the ball more quickly…that’s where Vik can do damage if Luton or set.
Vik missed 2 gilt edged chances before he scored. Get him running towards goal and he is a threat.
Not out of this game yet but same old problems at back and missing good chances makes it so difficult to win games

I'm off to try and polish my half-time turd. Will be good to know how Dennis Lawrence feels trying to get this defence to keep a clean sheet.

If (big if) we can keep a clean sheet in the 2nd half, we ought to get the chance for some sort of a result. OK attack, poor defence. Godden fairly anonymous, but knows where the net is (tempted to let Tavares have a run out though) Keep giving the ball to Gyo (and get O'Hare back asap)
Only 1 problem with your masterplan Tavares isn't in the squad

Like groundhog day. Dabo unable to concentrate, Rose off injured, Allen anonymous in the attacking midfield role. I'd back all three of these to happen in any game they start.

Hamer is a joke - if we really turned £5 million down we literally have bought this in ourselves
When you watch it back, watch their 2nd goal. Hamer has the ball 30 yards from their goal, skips past a man then passes it 5 yards straight to their bloke. Clive laughed it off as an awful mistake, 5 seconds later it's in the net.

No point sacking him. Who else is around that’s better? And what can they really do with this squad?

Don't think Godden has been as bad as some have said. Some good link up play. Put someone behind him that can play fwd passes and with how sh*t their defence looks, it's worth leaving him on. Just get Allen off. He's worked hard but just not up to it at 10. Sheaf's having a good game. Hamer hasn't been booked. It could be worse!

Bit of a crutch argument is the who else argument. There are other managers that could do a good job. He's not the only manager in the world who is capable. We shouldn't change manager though.

Really not a bad half tbf. I'm not as arsed if we lose and play well, I think we have, away, at a team who tonked us 5-0 and are miles ahead fitness and game sharpness wise. Yes we lack sharpness but it is what it is. We haven't been battered

So you wouldn’t have him in this squad then?

On the bench, but not starting.

He was offered up for sale and only had interest from a League One team. He's not good enough at this level.

Dabo is having a stinker tonight but we were far better with him in the team than Kane last year.
