Theyve just offered free tickets to us all at work for their next home game to say thank you for work during covid.
Why are they still dishing out free tickets like they are going out of fashion when they havnt got a pot to piss in ?

Im guessing you work in emergency services. As looks like they are giving tickets out to all blue light card holders

Elite rugby club Wasps are offering free tickets to West Midlands Police Federation members to their Midlands derby clash with Northampton Saints next month.

The Gallagher Premiership Rugby match takes place at the Coventry Building Society Arena on Sunday 9 October. Kick-off is at 3pm.

The match is being staged as part of an Emergency Services Day at the Coventry stadium hosted by Wasps in conjunction with the suicide prevention campaign It Takes Balls To Talk.

The day aims to offer thanks to emergency services workers in the region and to recognise World Mental Health Day, which this year takes place on Monday 10 October.

Blue light card holders – including police officers, firefighters, ambulance and NHS staff – can apply for free tickets to the game via"

Maybe to convince an investor they have fans or hoping food and drink spend will keep them going.

Somehow, I just can't imagine Grendel getting through ten pints of Carlsberg at the ground.

I could be wrong.

You would think they would check the type of lager before starting a rumor?
I think it's quite common to choose something that can be checked and shown to not be true because it helps weed out those that won't be taken in by it and so those that spread it are people that can be fooled more easily, and their network is likely to be the same. Basically efficient marketing to reach the target audience.

Hence why those 'Nigerian prince' emails are so (deliberately) badly worded.

They know that anybody who clicks through/follows up are gullible and naive.

Not sure what the endgame is with a facebook post though, unless they're planning on rocking up to the CBS with a load of warm, out of date tinnies.
