If I was a wasps fan , forget the coventry Clingons because they're not their fans , I'm talking proper wasps fans that Richardson couldn't give a fuck about when he moved them 90 miles up the road ..... I'd be keeping my fingers crossed that my club ended up back down south.

The coventry / midland wasps fans can fuxk themselves tbh .. who cares how they feel

A thing to consider with Ashley is his company tax situation, in that having sold NUFC last year.
Would I be correct in thinking he has a limited period of time to reinvest the profit before capital gains tax kicks in?
I’d welcome the accounting experts on here answering that question.
If I’m correct in my assertion then buying the arena & CCFC fits his timeline

More an OSB question but greatly depends who sold what and what they would be buying

But I suspect CGT is not a deciding factor

I assume the winding up order is tomorrow and technically they’d have until Wednesday but I think they are already telling players to find other clubs

The winding up notice will only become effective tomorrow if WASPS or ACL file. HMRC have to petition and have a hearing

ACL could be first to control the lease via a Receiver

Their supporters can't really expect much sympathy, they've backed themselves into a corner here.

Are we expected to have sympathy that they might not have a club to go watch anymore, they didn't give a shit about that when they moved here and left fans behind. They kept telling us those left behind would just find another club to go watch.

Same applies to those whose jobs are at risk, any community program or anything you can think of. They were totally dismissive of any concerns when moving here. People who weren't onboard were quickly silenced and banned from their forums.

Why do they expect sympathy from others now?

Totally agree, there's a bunch of original Wasps fans who were abandoned who I suspect would be happy to have the club back even if they are no longer in the Premiership.

You are Clive Eakin and I claim my £5, and I also want Wasps to fuck off
Now that Gilbert has admitted the Telegraph were suppressing anything negative about Wasps wonder if we'll get the same from CWR. They were all over Wasps when they moved in which can't have been for adversing money.
