First 8 away games last 3 seasons.
20/21 W 0, D 3, L 5 F 6 A 13 and 3 points
21/21 W2, D 2, L 4, F 6 A 13 and 8 points
21/22 W1, D 4 , L 3 F 8 ,A12 and 7 points
Surprisingly we scoring more goals and a better defence. No where as bad as many have suggested.
NEXT 17 GAMES
5 AWAY and 12 AT HOME. This is ridiculous.
We will be more than fine.
Still backing us easily for top half finish.
As I keep on saying since before Middlesboro game we will average 1.5 PPG going forward.
Have some people forgotten that we won yesterday?
It was great - enjoy it.
What’s our points against the teams we’ve played stacked up against last season? I’d say that’s a more valid comparison
Look, I know we’ve played more away than home. I just think it’s a dangerous to take those home games for granted. Based on season form if we’d have played 13 games, we’d be good for 12 points which puts us 23rd. Ain’t trying to wind anyone up or piss on peoples corn flakes.
But we're still bottom of the league. Still missing gilt edged chances, still getting the rub of the green at the back
By my reckoning it was 17 points if you change the promoted/ relegated teams as Fulham - Burnley, Bournemouth - Watford, Forest - Norwich, Peterborough - Wigan, Derby - Rotherham, & Barnsley - Sunderland.
Given that we beat Sheff U & Stoke in the comparative fixtures last season that comparison could yet get worse before it gets better.
Only drew away at Stoke so could well match or better that.
Don't be so hard on yourselfSome of the rubbish written on this thread is incredible.
Or Freddy and the DreamersI think we should rename this thread ‘YAZZ and the plastic population’…..

Nothing wrong with saying don't count home games as wins. But u also can't count them as losses. U simply must wait and seeLook, I know we’ve played more away than home. Previously in thread you said we were bottom based on merit. Despite ehaving played 3 less games than everyone else.
Come on
Amazing isn't it the 'I told you so' brigade giving it stacks when were still 3 points from safety
Yet u seen to want to ignore that we have played 3 games less too!!Amazing isn't it the 'I told you so' brigade giving it stacks when were still 3 points from safety

Just be balanced like me
The issue with the whole thing (and most things on here) is everyone acts like they're one of the TalkSport clickbait crew. It's either 'WE'RE GETTING RELEGATED, WORST TEAM IN THE LEAGUE' or 'WE SHOULD GO AUTOS!' (someone on here has been in both camps in the last three months bizarrely). There can be balance. You can accept we have faults, had a poor and interrupted start to the season, but also see our strengths and consider us to be a team more capable than the bottom three. We're not over the hill by any means and there is still plenty of work to be done, but we have bounced back well and let's hope we can build on it.This is the main thing with the 'bedwetters' for me. It's the lack of balance.
There was no mention of games in hand, disruption to the season, missing O'Hare, losing Hyam etc etc - it was just absolute OMG WE'RE GOING TO GET 7 POINTS ALL SEASON and if you dared mention any extenuating circumstances you were told to wake up and take your head out of your arse.

Exactly.I’d be a lot calmer if I knew we’d get through January unscathed.
Selling and then buying in Jan would hardly be ideal - teams would know we’d have some money and desperate! Not sales I’m worried about in Jan but whether we get replacements in. I think the squad could do with freshening up in two or three places so could end up being net positive even if we do lose one or both of Vik and Cal.
I’ll stand by it. At the time of the post, we massively lacked quality and fluidity other than a couple of glimpses in the games already played.
Rightly so i told you to calm down. Dont panic.Amazing isn't it the 'I told you so' brigade giving it stacks when were still 3 points from safety
I’d say vs Millwall (before the howler) we looked very, very good - not seen that since, yet!Thats strange id say we are playing with less fluidity and quality last few games than we were earlier in the season.
Better than Sunderland overall. 2nd half dominated. Yse we were crap first 20 mins.I’d say vs Millwall (before the howler) we looked very, very good - not seen that since, yet!
You changing your prediction of 2 weeks ago of relegation and relegation dog fight.?I’d say vs Millwall (before the howler) we looked very, very good - not seen that since, yet!
