Not sure I follow. When Turner says two bids have come in, what are they for?

I’m only guessing but if it’s a pre pack administration sale* that’s where someone buys the business and assets (inc long lease) but they don’t take on the liabilities/creditors. It would be a new company.

Ps what we don’t know is the structure of the bids. Are they to buy the ACL company solvently (unlikely in my view) or via a pre pack

If the council aren't involved, how is duggins announcing what bids there are?

When it was asked if ccfc or sisu would bid, why was it said they need to speak to Martin reeves?

I don’t need any help I paid cash .

I purchased a partner out of their lease - we had shared ownership - the council approved it as freeholder and had to grant a document of assignment to allow permission. It was a pure paper exercise

Of course the council as freeholder will have - even if it’s procedural - an involvement

I’m not even arguing with you - I think the council will be very guarded about making the same mistake they did last time. I don’t know why your getting so aggressive

Didnt mean to sound aggressive, not having the best time TBH, so apologies for that. I genuinely do work in supply chain finance and not property any more.

Not quite sure what’s wrong with the article as it’s written to get you so upset. Turner might even have done his job (even if the CET are clearly behind the competition on this story).

He’s literally using info on Twitter

Who else is reporting that NEC is one of the bids?

The reality is we don’t really know where his info’s from - not that it matters that much even if it’s all nicked off Twitter ITKs.

Far to many pages to read through, has anyone else found it strange that we have only now announced that we are under a transfer embargo and haven’t paid the hmrc. It especially seems odd that sisu are communicating it with us at all considering it’s sisu and that we are half way through paying it and it won’t effect January?
does this sort of stuff come out publicly when a take over happens or is it easily found online so they thought they’d better announce it before someone else does?

It came out in the press before hand

Any idea how a new owner can do 15 million quids worth of repairs without closing the stadium 😬

No one is reporting anyone has made a bid yet. That’s my point. He’s using a rumour off Twitter, not an ITK.

If any local journo is to be trusted with this, it’s Gilbert. As you said, CET are behind everyone as usual.

The council with see the NEC more beneficial for Coventry as a whole. The amount of gigs both in the arena and the stadium during the summer months. There's a possibility you could have major gigs there a few nights a week.

I think they would be more interested in developing the area around the ground and consider pumping money into sorting the station out. An arena hosting those gigs needs a rail link.

I doubt SISU have the capital to mount a serious bid.

All roads appear that they want to sell now and any winner of the stadium can take it off there hands to make the stadium a success….. at a price of course.
