Anyone else think he looks quicker this season? In the run for Walker's chance he looks like someone hit fast fwd on the clip.
He has always been deceptively fast. His acceleration in beating defenders over a short distance is really impressive but what was amazing on Tuesday was him beating their defenders over a long distance whilst keeping the ball under control.

Like fat Ronaldo in his prime.

First caller on CWR was suggesting that the club should do everything in their power to secure Hamer, COH and Gyok until the end of the season. No cheap sales in January, regardless of our finances. Keeping all three in the squad, there is a potential for them to be playing in the Premiership next season with us which would resolve the negative impact of selling them in Jan. If we don't get promoted, all three are still under contract so we could hash out a deal for them to be sold in June regardless with no qualms and our best wishes.

Personally, I agree. This is the time for us to speculate and the path to the League of the Rich awaits. Selling in Jan shows the team, the Manager and the fans that the owners and the club hierarchy have zero interest in progressing.

Just enjoying watching him while he's here.

Can't see us turning down a big fee in January but guess we'll see. He and O'Hare are so integral to how we play

We already know that’s the case though. Not even worth the hope at the moment.

Bit of loose change for Robins and we could still be up there though.

Im just clinging on to the fact I can’t remember the last time a Prem club spent big money on a Championship striker in January. The way he’s playing and improving a move looks inevitable unless we do the unthinkable but please lord not until the summer.

He is utterly unplayable at the moment. He's still so raw too. A few prem managers must be eyeing him up and thinking, oh I can work with that

MR has done a fantastic job but I can't see him possibly replacing Gyokeres in the January window and us still having a shot at the play offs. I so hope we can persuade him to stay until the end of the season, and that the owners can be persuaded to wait to cash in until that time too.

Without doubt the most exciting striker we've had for decades.

As soon as he gets the ball fans get on their feet and defenders crap themselves.

It's all very well saying if we have any ambition or if the owners have anything about them then we won't sell him in January but at the end of the day if a big offer comes in and he wants to leave (which he would) then he'll be off, and that's the same for any club/owner.

Which people wouldn't object to if it were a huge fee and the manager saw a good chunk of the proceeds.
